Hotel Description

You know what really surprised me about 3D Spring Apartments? The location actually works way better than I expected. I mean, when you first see “Podgórze” on the booking site, you might think you’re stuck way out in the suburbs – but honestly, this part of Krakow has become pretty cool over the past few years. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from Kazimierz (the old Jewish quarter where everyone goes for dinner and drinks), and getting to the Old Town is just a quick tram ride or a pleasant 20-minute stroll across the Vistula.

The building itself sits on Podskale street, which is one of those quietly residential areas where you’ll hear church bells in the morning instead of traffic. The apartments are proper apartments too, not those weird hotel-apartment hybrids where nothing quite works right. I stayed in a one-bedroom unit and the kitchen actually had everything you’d need – full-size fridge, decent cooktop, even a dishwasher. The living area feels modern without being sterile, and they’ve got this nice mix of clean lines and warm touches that doesn’t scream “rental property.” What I really appreciated was the attention to small stuff – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time someone in the next room opens Netflix.

Here’s the thing about staying in Podgórze though – you get to experience Krakow more like locals do, especially if you walk down to the small cafes along Kalwaryjska street for your morning coffee. The area has this authentic neighborhood vibe that’s hard to find when you’re staying right in the tourist center. Sure, you won’t stumble out your front door onto the main square, but you’re close enough to everything that matters, and honestly? Coming back to a quiet street after a day of sightseeing feels pretty perfect. The 8.2 rating makes sense – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done, clean, and the kind of place where everything just works the way it should. Plus, if you’re planning to explore beyond just the Old Town (and you really should check out the Schindler’s Factory museum, which is basically around the corner), this location puts you in a great spot to see a more complete picture of the city.

Apartments in Krakow provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional Galician specialties.

  • Very Good – Jonathan from United Kingdom – January 2, 2025 (8/10)

    Myself, my wife and 3 children (14, 11, 9) had a fantastic stay at number 1 3D apartments. The apartment was clean, modern and plenty of space for all of us. Fresh towels were left along with all amenities we needed for our 3 night stay over new years. The apartment temperature was perfect, very cosy coming in after our day exploring krakow. The location is about a 30 minute walk from the old down but we downloaded the bolt taxi app which I would recommend as we were able to order them in minutes and the cost of the journey to the old town was on average 22zlt which is just over £4. We will be back.

  • It was very relaxing stay in the property. – Manauwar from Saudi Arabia – July 5, 2023 (9/10)

    The property was very clean, well organized and fitted with all basic needs.

  • Happy to stay. – Nguyen from Vietnam – May 30, 2023 (9/10)

    Clean, convenient appartment. Very good location.

    What could be improved: A little bit dark in living room.

  • it was a good experience but not recommendable for more than 2 people – Bozzato from Italy – April 11, 2023 (8/10)

    it was cleaned and beautiful looking

    What could be improved: it is only for 2 persons and not more like we where, it becomes claustrophobic and some essentials are missing like a broom or some towels to clean while you are staying

  • Very Good – Emily from Australia – January 17, 2023 (8/10)

    – nice and clean apartment with a modern kitchen and large clear TV
    – comfortable beds
    – slightly outside of city centre, however very close to the tram which was very easy to get on

    What could be improved: – bathroom did not have a drain outside of the shower so when attempting to dry yourself, the floor would get very wet,
    – 3 x key door codes to get in which we didn’t mind however some might find it difficult to constantly get in and out without having them written down or if your phone loses charge

  • Excellent accommodation with top of the range equipment. Highly recommended if you're in Kraków. – Lozynski from United Kingdom – January 11, 2023 (9/10)

    Exactly as described. Modern decor with top quality materials used. Great value for money. Absolutely fantastic for a couple and great for 2+2 family.

    What could be improved: Soundproofing between flats could be a bit better but it wasn't a massive issue.

  • Wonderful – Olga from Ukraine – November 23, 2022 (9/10)

    I recommend! Nice atmosphere, I wanted to come back and relax in the apartment.

  • Good – George from United Kingdom – October 8, 2024 (7/10)

    What could be improved: Wasn't clear that if the code is introduced incorrectly there is a timeout that doesn't allow you to retry for 2 minutes. This is important info for guests to know. We had to try and get in touch by calling at a late time in the night to figure this out.

  • A great place to stay in Kraków – Raman from Poland – July 15, 2023 (9/10)

    Hey,
    Really enjoyed the apartments. What is great about the property:

    + the design is great; air conditioning is available, even though we did not use it;
    + it was clean, all the rooms, kitchen, bathrooms (there are 2 available, and that is super comfortable) – everything was great;
    + it seems that there is no direct sunlight reaching the apartments during the day, so in general it does not heat up;
    + the location is fine – not far away from the city center, so it is easy to reach by foot;
    + the facility is great and comfortable, including furniture;
    + the beds are comfortable; in one of the rooms there are 2 single beds, and you should keep this in mind if you travel with another family;
    + underground parking is available and was included in the cost;
    + the check-in and instructions are really great;

    What could be improved: There is one not so great thing about the apartments – noise. There are 2 features about it:

    + tram noise – windows from bedrooms open to the street with tram lines, and they start to drive early in the morning; it is fine when the windows are closed, but if you try to open it even slightly for ventilation, it will be uncomfortable to sleep
    + the soundproofing between the bathroom and the bedroom with double bed is bad as well, so you will hear very well when someone takes a shower

  • Very Good – Leandra from Netherlands – February 19, 2024 (8/10)

    The apartment is totally new and renovated. What you see in the pictures is what you get. They left us coffee for 2 days, so that was nice. You have lidl nearby, McDonald's, kfc and other shops

    What could be improved: If you are looking for a quite place, unfortunately that's not the place. It's a very busy and noise street.
