The address is honestly perfect – Plac Szczepański puts you right in the thick of things, but somehow you’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cloth Hall and Main Market Square, but when you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that you don’t get in most Old Town accommodations.

The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d expect from the name – genuinely antique touches that feel authentic rather than staged. Think original wooden beams, period furniture that’s actually comfortable (not just pretty), and these amazing high ceilings that make even the smaller units feel spacious. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to blend the historical character with modern necessities – the Wi-Fi actually works, the bathrooms are updated without looking jarring, and honestly, the beds are fantastic. The reception situation is a bit different since it’s apartment-style, but the staff knows the area inside and out. They’ll tell you which entrance to use late at night (trust me, this matters in Old Town) and where to grab groceries without paying tourist prices.

Here’s the thing about staying right on Plac Szczepański – you’re close enough to everything that you don’t need to plan your day around getting back, but far enough from Floriańska Street that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. The location is honestly brilliant for exploring. You can walk to Wawel Castle in about eight minutes, hit up Kazimierz for dinner (fifteen-minute stroll), and there’s this little café right around the corner – Café Camelot – that locals actually go to, not just tourists. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you experience it; it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it nails what it’s supposed to be. The apartments have character, the location is unbeatable, and you feel like you’re living in Kraków rather than just visiting it. Plus, if you’re staying more than a couple nights, having a little kitchen space is clutch – especially when you discover the food market on Hala Targowa.

  The location is great only a few mins from main square. Lots of bars and restaurants around . The apartment is good size and very comfortable

  Every thing was great it’s in the middle of everything and walkable to all attractions.
  We were traveling with a child and the place worked great for us .
  It has elevator and it’s on the top floor , it’s bright and welcoming.
  I have a few recommendations .
  1. In the bathroom upstairs there is no place to hang towels !
  2.The place is clean but still needs a deep cleaning , some dust here and there …
  3. There were no paper towels

  Exceptionally clean and in a perfect location only 1 or 2 mins walk to the main square. It was also great to have a staff member at reception 24 hours a day – ideal for late arrival.
