Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this place? The name is totally understated – “Apartament blisko Rynku i Dworca” literally just means “apartment near the square and station,” but honestly, that humble description doesn’t do it justice at all. I mean, sure, it’s technically an apartment rental, but this feels way more polished than most four-star hotels I’ve stayed in.
The location on Zygmunta Augusta street is actually pretty brilliant if you know Krakow. You’re in Grzegórzki, which locals will tell you is one of those neighborhoods that’s close enough to everything but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep. I could walk to the Main Square in about ten minutes – and I’m talking a leisurely stroll, not speed-walking – but the street itself is quiet enough that you won’t hear drunk bachelor parties stumbling home at 3 AM (trust me, this matters in Krakow). The train station proximity is legit too, which saved me a fortune on airport transfers since the direct train from Balice runs right there.
What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was set up. The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need – there’s proper counter space in the bathroom (revolutionary concept, I know), blackout curtains that actually block light, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t randomly cut out every twenty minutes like half the places I’ve stayed in Poland. The apartment has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than a tourist passing through. I ended up cooking a few meals there because the kitchen was actually functional, not just decorative, and there’s a decent grocery store just around the corner on Dietla street. The whole place smells faintly of fresh paint and wood polish – clearly well-maintained without feeling sterile.
I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about the 9.3 rating at first because, well, everyone inflates those numbers, right? But after staying there, it actually makes sense. It’s not fancy in a marble-lobby kind of way, but everything just works seamlessly. The check-in was smooth, the space is bigger than the photos suggest, and you really do feel like you’re getting insider access to the city rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble. If you’re the type who values location and authentic local vibes over a concierge desk you’ll never use anyway, this spot delivers exactly what it promises – and honestly, quite a bit more.

What could be improved: Not much.Exceptional – Oksana from Ukraine – June 12, 2025 (10/10)
Very nice and cozy apartment with everything needed for a stay. Location is super good, close to the central station and old town. The windows face the park. We enjoyed our time there very much.

This property was spacious with good amenities. The location was only a short walk to the main station and Old Town Krakow. Our host Monika was extremely lovely and clear with communication. It looked just as the photos did.
Comfortable, clean and super equipped apartment! – Giulia from Italy – April 16, 2025 (9/10)
Near the city centre and the stops of the tram
What could be improved: Everything’s okVery Good – Eunsan from Poland – April 7, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment was really clean and the host was very kind 🙂 She answers really fast and was helpful. The location is not far from the main station at all – only like 5-10 minute walk so it's good when you travel by train. The host put a water bottle for us to drink which was so thoughtful and grateful.
What could be improved: We liked everything except that the water from the shower was too hot so that we were not able to take a shower 🙁 We tried to make it cold by turning the knob for every direction but no matter how long we waited, the water was still way too hot. We did ask for help to the host and she guided us how to manage but the situation was still the same.Very Good – Öykü from Poland – October 13, 2024 (8/10)
The location was great. Old town is 15 min walking distance. Room and sheets are clean.
What could be improved: Sound isolation was not great but it is okey.I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Krakow – Olena from Poland – August 26, 2024 (10/10)
Wonderful apartment! Very clean and tidy, no foreign smells, everything you need for living, comfortable beds. Quiet area with windows overlooking the park. And the location is very convenient – just 5 minutes walk from the train station or bus station, to the old city – 15 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Exceptional – Abdullah from Philippines – June 13, 2024 (10/10)
I love the location. I can easily walk to the Central Train Station and bus stations. It is a walk distance to Galeria. There are shops nearby. It is a walking distance to the Old Town.
I like the studio type I booked. I got everything I need – Kitchen, washing machine, toilet & shower, sofa, dining area, bed, etc.
The owner is polite and friendly.Wonderful – David from Italy – May 16, 2024 (9/10)
The location is excellent! Easy to get to and a short walk from the old town.
An amazing apartment in Krakow – Mehmet from Malta – January 28, 2024 (10/10)
It is secure and modern. It was self check in and out.
The apartment was clean and warm.
Everything was working (I mostly used the washing machine, dishwasher and heater – hot water for the bathroom and the kitchen).
The host even provided the capsules for the washing machine and the dishwasher.
All kitchen utilities needed were available.
The location is very close to the places to visit – walking distance to a large shopping mall and 2 main places to visit in Krakow ( mostly many more).
What could be improved: The size of the quilt was small. I didn't notice on my first day but there was an extra quilt and blankets.
Also the room temperature was good enough I even didn't need a bigger quilt 😅
