You know what’s funny about Apartament Długa 82? The first time I walked up to it, I almost missed the entrance entirely – it’s tucked into this gorgeous historic building right on Długa Street, and honestly, from the outside it just looks like part of the old Krakow architecture. Which, I mean, it is, but in the best possible way.

The thing about staying here is you’re literally living in the heart of Old Town, but not in that touristy, overpriced way you might expect. I’m talking about being able to roll out of bed and grab coffee from that little place around the corner (the locals call it “u Józka” though I never saw a sign) before the tour groups even wake up. The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish Polish grandmother decided to embrace modern design – original wooden beams and thick walls that actually keep the street noise down, mixed with contemporary furniture that doesn’t try too hard to be Instagram-worthy. The bathroom’s got this rainfall shower that, honestly, I didn’t want to leave most mornings.

What really struck me was how the 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. It’s not just about the obvious stuff like the location (though walking to the Main Square in literally three minutes doesn’t hurt). The details matter here – like how the windows open wide enough to let in that crisp Krakow air without the medieval-street-party noise, or how the kitchen’s actually equipped for real cooking if you hit the Hala Targowa market. The Wi-Fi’s solid, which matters if you’re trying to work, and there’s this perfect reading nook by the window where you can watch people navigating the cobblestones below.

I’ll be real though – if you’re someone who needs hotel services like daily housekeeping or a concierge, this isn’t that kind of place. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Krakow for a few days instead of just visiting, well, that’s exactly what this is. The check-in was smooth (they met me at the building since there’s no formal lobby), and the whole experience felt more like borrowing a friend’s perfectly located pied-à-terre than staying in typical tourist accommodation. Plus, being on Długa means you’re close enough to everything that matters – Wawel Castle, the Jewish Quarter, those late-night pierogi spots – but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with bachelor parties stumbling past your window at 2 AM.

  The apartment is located in the perfect area, not too busy but only a 10-15 minute walk away from the city center. There's a convenience store right next door and a cute market in front of the accommodation. Thank you for the lovely stay!
  
  What could be improved: The shower armature is a bit confusing since it was installed incorrectly. Turning the knob toward the red dot means cold water while the blue dot points toward hot water. It wasn't a serious issue, but maybe a sign would be useful for future guests so they don't assume there is no hot water at all as I did.

  The host was extremely helpful and quickly resolved an unexpected situation that was actually our fault. The apartment is newly renovated, the mattress is very comfortable, and there were plenty of dishwasher tablets provided. Just one tip – mind your head! 😁

  We absolutely loved the apartment. New, with everything we needed.
  The cleaness was something to point out, very well cleaned.
  Near transports, near the center of Krakow.
  The owners were incredible! They wanted us to be always confortable. We literally felt at home.

  Great location and apartment is very modern and up to date.
  
  What could be improved: First when we arrived the host sent us a wrong password of the locker where the key was so we couldn't get into the apartment. When I contacted the host she couldn't speak English and didn't help us at all so we had to figure out how to get to the key.
  Second thing there was hair everywhere.. On the floor, in the bathtub and worst of all on the bed sheets.. Also the bed sheets smelled like they haven't been changed.. So I suppose we slept on the same sheets as the guests before us😒

  Lokal bardzo estetyczny i wygodny, bardzo czysty i duzym plusem jest pralka, żelazko, klimatyzacja która calkowicie się sprawdziła w gorący dzień. Budynek odświeżony po remoncie i jest winda! Wnętrze jest przestronne i jasne. W budynku jest cicho i spokojnie a przy otwartych oknach zaskakująco spokojnie. Lokalizacja idealna, krótki spacer w kierunku rynku jest plusem, idziesz przez zabytkowe ulice i zielone parki. Komunikacja miejska idealnie skomunikowana z resztą miasta a przystanki zaraz obok. Żabka przy wyjściu z klatki, targ po drugiej stonie uliczki. Jeśli masz ograniczony czas to takie udogodnienia oszczędzają cenny czas. Kontakt z właścicielami super sympatyczny, szybka odpowiedz, szybka reakcja i realna pomoc. Byłam 3 noclegi z nastolatkiem, obojgu nam sie podobało.
