The kitchenettes are surprisingly functional too – I was able to make proper coffee in the morning instead of dealing with those tiny hotel packets that taste like disappointment. And the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places still mess this up.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area. When I asked about good places to grab dinner that weren’t tourist traps, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a brochure – he actually drew a little map and told me which nights certain places get too crowded. That 7.7 rating makes sense to me because it’s the kind of place that does the fundamentals really well without any major wow moments. The beds are comfortable, the showers have decent pressure, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. Is it Instagram-perfect? Not particularly. But it’s the kind of place where you wake up feeling rested instead of wondering why your back hurts, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.   The location is perfect, close to the station and city center, tram/bus stop right in front of the building, grocery store on the corner. Also the host was very nice and helpful and she brought us extra cover and towels when needed.

  Short walk from the train station, and the main shopping plaza. About 15 minute walk to the old town. Beds fairly comfy, apartment warm when the heaters are on full blast. Clean, but toilet bowl could do with a good scrub. Good directions, but a bit confusing and could be improved.

  10 minute walk from the main railway station and shopping mall.
  Tramstop outside, grocer almost next door, and an amazing breakfast cafe 5 minutes round the corner.

  Very central location, only a few minutes walking to the main station, and 15 mins to the old town. Well-equipped and well-decorated flat in an old building facing the inner yard, where you don't hear the crowd and the traffic.

  Lokalizacja, cisza w nocy i nad ranem ( nie licząc gołębi ;p). Wyposażenie kuchni i świetny kontakt z właścicielem. Samodzielny check-in. To nasz drugi pobyt w tym mieszkaniu i z pewnością chętnie wrócimy jeszcze.
