You know what surprised me most about this place? It’s actually quiet. I mean, you’re right there in Zabłocie – which has become this trendy district south of the river – but somehow the apartment feels tucked away from all the hustle. The building itself is pretty modern, nothing too fancy from the outside, but once you’re inside it’s got that clean, minimalist Polish apartment vibe that just works.

The free parking thing is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving into Krakow. I’ve stayed in places where you’re circling blocks for twenty minutes looking for a spot, or paying through the nose for hotel parking. Here, there’s actually space for your car without the drama. The apartment overlooks the Vistula – well, sort of – you get glimpses of the river between other buildings, which is nice enough. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to get into the Old Town from here. The tram runs pretty regularly, and honestly, the walk isn’t terrible if you don’t mind crossing the river. Takes maybe fifteen minutes to Wawel Castle, which beats being stuck in some tourist-packed hotel right in the market square.

The AWG people seem to have their act together – check-in was smooth, place was spotless, and the apartment had everything you’d actually need. Good wifi (important if you’re working), decent kitchen setup, and the bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night. The whole Podgórze area has really come alive in recent years – you’ve got some solid restaurants walking distance, and it’s got this local feel that the main tourist areas have sort of lost. I grabbed coffee a few mornings at this little place around the corner, and it felt more like being in a neighborhood than staying in hotel-land. Only thing I’d mention is that some of the nearby construction can get going pretty early, but that’s just Krakow these days – the whole city’s growing fast. For the money and the location, especially with that parking situation sorted, it’s honestly hard to beat if you want to experience Krakow without feeling like you’re trapped in the tourist bubble.

  Great apartment and location. parking space as well. If you use waze or Bolt it will take you to a different location near by. Google maps shows the right location.

  The location was very good and 4 minutes from the tram. The kitchen was well equipped and organized. And the balcony was nice and you can sit there. There is also a good private place for parking the car inside the complex.
  
  What could be improved: The water from the shower was going to the bathroom and the floor became wet after every shower. The pillows were not good. And there is a construction happening right in front of the block and they are very noisy early in the morning.

  The large balcony with outdoor furniture was great, and we really appreciated the coffee machine with coffee beans provided — a thoughtful detail.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, the apartment needs maintenance. The wardrobes were very dusty, the bathroom sink had a bad smell when using water, and the furniture is worn — table surface peeling, wobbly chairs, and a dirty, scratched sofa with signs of pets. Also, there were no hooks in the bathroom, which made it less convenient.
  Blankets had an unpleasant smell and didn’t seem freshly washed. The wall clock wasn’t working – if it is here then should work!
  Most importantly, nearby construction was not mentioned in the listing — this should definitely be stated!
