Walking up to the building, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. It’s got that understated European apartment building vibe – you might even walk past it if you’re not paying attention. But once you’re inside, everything clicks. The apartment itself feels like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place, someone who actually has taste and knows how to make a space comfortable. The floors have this lovely worn-in quality (real wood, not that laminate stuff), and there’s proper thick curtains that actually block out light – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re trying to sleep past sunrise in a new city. The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully set up with decent appliances and enough counter space to actually cook if you want to skip restaurant prices for a night or two.

What really sold me was the location situation. You’re right in the thick of things without being on one of those tourist-clogged streets where you can’t walk three feet without dodging a selfie stick. I could walk to the main square in maybe five minutes, but the street itself stays pretty quiet – even on weekends, you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. There’s this little café downstairs (well, sort of downstairs and around the corner) where the locals grab their morning coffee, and the woman who runs it makes these incredible pastries that are gone by 10 AM if you don’t get there early. Parking’s actually doable too, which is saying something – there’s street spots if you’re lucky, or a garage about two blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget.

The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “meet me at this random location with exact change” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals. They’ve got it organized like a proper hotel, just with way more character and space than you’d get for the same price at a chain place. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the whole apartment (tested it thoroughly), and there’s plenty of hot water, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. Honestly, the only minor thing I’d change is maybe adding a proper coffee maker instead of just the instant stuff, but there’s that café downstairs anyway, so it hardly matters. This place just works – it’s got that perfect balance of feeling local and authentic while still being comfortable and reliable for travelers who want to actually enjoy their trip instead of worrying about their accommodation.

  Great location: close to everything (castle and old town, river) and quiet (courtyard-facing). The host is very helpful and provided extra items such as an iron/ironing board and a stool on request. The flat is cosy and comfortable, with good facilities (including air conditioning) and a shop located in the same building. There is a tram-stop and a very good public laundry nearby.

  Excellent location. Free underground parking. Apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was really friendly and always available if needed. Appartment’s AC was welcomed as well. I would come here again any time. Also just downstairs was a store (Zabka). And near old town, shops and restaurants but still away from the noise.

  We’ve had a wonderful stay in this apartment with the owner who is super helpful during all your stay, he has been able to meet us at night after a long trip even, just do not have enough words to explain how helpful he has been. The service has been excellent.
  
  The apartment is well equipped and in the perfect location – new building, the shop is near it, near the Wawel Castle, old town and the river, with lots of places for walking, especially with children. The parking slot in the underground parking has been helpful as well. The furniture is new, there is a washine machine, all kitchen equipment and there are modern heating systems, etc., great balcony, just lots of advantages of the new building. I hope we will have a chance to come back again in future. The district is very safe as well.
