I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Apartament z klimatyzacją” listed, I almost scrolled past thinking it was just another basic rental. But you know what? Sometimes the simplest names hide the best surprises. This place on Kielecka Street turned out to be exactly what I needed during my stay in Krakow, and that air conditioning (which is literally what the name means) was an absolute lifesaver during those unexpectedly warm September days.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re right in Grzegórzki, which most tourists completely overlook, but it’s honestly one of the best-kept secrets for staying in Krakow. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town – maybe 15 minutes at a leisurely pace – but you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise that come with staying right in the center. The tram connections are solid too, and there’s this little bakery just around the corner that does incredible obwarzanki (those twisted Polish bagels) first thing in the morning. I found myself stopping there almost daily because, well, the smell basically drags you in as you walk past.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully set up everything was inside. The apartment feels like someone actually lives there and cares about the details, not like those sterile corporate rentals where everything’s beige and forgettable. The air conditioning works perfectly – and trust me, I tested it thoroughly – but they’ve also got good natural ventilation so you’re not stuck in a sealed box all day. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re like me and prefer making coffee exactly how you want it rather than hunting for decent cafés every morning. I actually ended up cooking a few meals there because the local market on Starowiślna has such great produce, and it felt natural to use the space that way. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s those little things like having enough outlets near the bed, decent water pressure, and blinds that actually block out light that add up to make a real difference. Honestly, it’s refreshing to find a place that delivers on being comfortable without trying to oversell itself with fancy descriptions.

  The accomodation was very beautiful and had a lot of open space. We were staying there as a family of six. We were near the city centre and city transport but inside it was realy quiet.

  The apartment was clean and the kitchen well equipped.
  The city center is about a 25 minute walk, we used the tram only once.
  
  What could be improved: A few things were missing but could be added easily
  – curtain on the balcony door
  – a reading lamp in that same bedroom
  – another small bedside table for the double bed, which is slightly narrow
  
  The outside unit of the air conditioner should be protected from pigeons

  The apartment has 3 rooms and 2 WC. The property is new and clean. Located in about 20 minutes walk to the Old Town. I can recommend this apartment.

  The apartment has a lot of good things – it's in a calm surrounding, contactless check in and out, everything was pretty new, there were two toilets, beds were comfortable. We overall would have rated much better if the host would not have taken us in a very strange situation which you can read below.
  
  What could be improved: We were totally surprised once we noted after the 1st night that a car parked in front of ours – so we had to use public transport to join a paid guided tour. During the tour I was then suddenly called by the owner because they needed their car which was parking in front of mine. They offered me to call a taxi but I still missed an hour of the tour and afterwards the other car parked AGAIN in front of ours. We had to contact the host several times to make sure that we can use the offered and confirmed parking place without asking or calling someone and this was really an uncomfortable situation. Moreover, nothing else was offered to compensate my efforts – besides a recommendation for a restaurant to which we even were not invited… as a result, I am sorry not to be able to recommend this place after all.
