Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Krakow apartments, and Apartamenty Astur on Worcella Street honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, this is actually nicer than the photos”? That’s what happened here. The building itself has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with Old Town’s vibe, but without the tourist trap feeling you get closer to the main square. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Wawel Castle, but tucked away on a quieter street where you won’t hear drunk bachelor parties stumbling home at 3 AM (trust me, location matters in Krakow’s Old Town).
What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to blend modern comfort with that historic Krakow charm – the apartments have all the stuff you actually need (proper kitchenettes, reliable Wi-Fi, decent water pressure) without feeling sterile or corporate. The furnishings are thoughtful, not just IKEA basics thrown together, and there’s enough space to actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two. Honestly, after dealing with cramped hotel rooms elsewhere in the city center, having a proper apartment setup was refreshing. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this little pierogi place on Grodzka Street that I never would’ve found otherwise, way better than the obvious tourist spots everyone recommends.
Here’s the thing about staying here: you get that authentic “living in Krakow” experience without sacrificing comfort or convenience. The tram stops are close enough when you want to venture beyond Old Town (though honestly, you might not need to), and there’s a decent grocery store nearby if you want to grab breakfast supplies or wine for the evening. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it delivers exactly what it promises at a level that exceeds expectations. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend or just want a solid base for exploring the city, this place gets it right. Plus, the value is honestly pretty great for what you get in this part of town – I’ve paid similar prices for places that were half as nice and twice as noisy.

Great location. Lots of room. Nice and warm. All you need for cooking. Washing machine a bonus. It was a great stay for 5 nights, we enjoyed having more space than in a hotel room.
What could be improved: Like others have said the beautiful parquet floor squeaks a bit, the shower is really small (and I'm not!) and I personally found the bed a bit firm but none of these are big things… I'd stay there again when back in Kraków.Very Good – Milan from Slovakia – December 15, 2024 (8/10)
