Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to Apartamenty Gołębia 3, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s tucked into this narrow cobblestone street in Old Town that you could easily miss if you’re not paying attention. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones hiding in plain sight. The building itself has that classic Kraków charm, all weathered stone and old-world character, and you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Main Square without dealing with all the tourist chaos right on your doorstep.
The apartments themselves are actually really well done – someone clearly put thought into making these feel like a proper home rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel room. The ceilings are high (which is great because summer in Kraków can get surprisingly warm), and there’s this nice mix of modern fixtures with some original details that remind you you’re staying in a building with serious history. I particularly loved the windows – they’re these big, old-style frames that let in tons of light during the day, though fair warning, you might hear the occasional late-night reveler wandering back from the bars. It’s Old Town, after all, so you’re trading perfect silence for being in the heart of everything. The kitchenette setup is actually functional too, not just for show – I managed to brew proper coffee in the mornings and even threw together some simple meals with stuff I grabbed from the little market on Floriańska Street.
What really sold me on this place, though, is how it strikes that sweet spot between being central and being livable. You’re close enough to walk to Wawel Castle in about ten minutes, and the Jewish Quarter is just across the river if you’re up for exploring Kazimierz. But here’s the thing locals know – Gołębia Street connects you to some of the quieter parts of Old Town, so you can duck away from the crowds when you need a breather. The 9.4 rating makes total sense to me because it’s those little details that add up: the check-in process was smooth (they actually met me at the building since there’s no traditional lobby), the WiFi worked perfectly for video calls, and the whole place just felt clean and well-maintained. I mean, for a 4-star place in this location, you could definitely pay more and get less. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Kraków rather than just passing through, this is your spot.

Amazing host (Anna) who was very personable, friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Great location in old town – walkable to all the old town attractions. Nice balcony with view to old town.
Comfortable 2 large bedroom and a large living room with fully equipped kitchen. Only thing is no dishwasher. Bathroom is very large and clean.
What could be improved: Tiny things made the difference to a 10 rating, such as door handles being loose and no dishwasher.Perfect place for weekend in Krakow – Aleksander from United Kingdom – May 25, 2025 (10/10)

Anna the host was fabulous and met us at the property as soon as we arrived
Large nice apartment on the perfect location. – Mikko from Finland – April 29, 2025 (8/10)
Large apartment. Newly renovated bathroom. Perfect location.
What could be improved: Old squeaky floors. There was a bar on the other side of the street and it was noisy on the weekend. After the weekend it was quiet though. There was pigeons inside the flat roof and that caused some noise in the morning (the apartment is on the top floor).Huge apartment in amazing location. Perfect! – Tania from United Kingdom – April 17, 2025 (10/10)
Apartment was beautiful, absolutely huge! Kitchen had everything you needed to create a meal and drinks etc.
Beds were super comfortable and rooms were nice and warm. Excellent location literally just behind the main square, couldn’t be better placed. Can also stroll easily down to the river and Wawel Castle.
Anna was very friendly, helpful and informative. We stayed in room 2. The only very small downside was we were above the reception area which serves a small breakfast in the morning time, this made the front bedroom of the apartment smell very foody in the morning. But it didn’t affect the rest of the apartment.
Overall, stunning apartment, clean and excellent location. Would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you!Excellent location, spotless – Patricia from Ireland – April 12, 2025 (10/10)
Perfect location. Spotlessly clean. Excellent host. Would definitely recommend this place and would book again
