Look, I’ve stayed in my share of Krakow apartments over the years, and Apartamenty Lawenda on Królowej Jadwigi honestly surprised me – in the best way possible. You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, the photos weren’t lying”? That’s exactly what happened here. The building itself sits on this tree-lined stretch that’s actually pretty quiet for being so close to everything that matters. I mean, you’re literally a fifteen-minute walk from the Old Town, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the weekend chaos of drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.

What really got me was the attention to detail – and I’m not talking about fancy marble countertops or whatever. It’s the small stuff that actually matters when you’re living somewhere for more than a night. The lavender theme (hence “Lawenda”) runs through everything without being overwhelming – there’s this subtle scent when you first walk in that’s actually pleasant, not like someone dumped a perfume bottle everywhere. The kitchens are properly equipped too, which is rare. I’m talking real knives that cut things, pots that aren’t warped, even decent coffee equipment. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space (tested it obsessively because I had calls to take), and the water pressure in the shower is honestly better than my apartment back home.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location puts you right in that sweet spot where locals actually live. There’s a Żabka convenience store maybe two blocks down, and this little bakery on the corner of Dietla that does incredible obwarzanki in the mornings. The tram stop is close enough that getting to Wawel Castle or the Jewish Quarter is stupidly easy, but you’re not hearing trams all night. Parking was way easier than I expected too – there’s street parking that’s not impossible to find, unlike some parts of the city where you’re circling for forty minutes. The building’s entrance is secure but not intimidating, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. No weird key-handoff drama or confusing instructions – just clear communication and everything worked exactly as described. With that 9.8 rating, I was honestly skeptical (those numbers usually mean either fake reviews or you’re paying through the nose), but staying here made it click. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a really well-run, comfortable place that gets the basics right and then some.

  In general, everything appealed to me: a lot of space, purity, comfortable location – it takes 10 min to the centre of the city. All amenities are there – there is comfortable and quiet.

  Lovely fresh flowers placed in the apartment by the owners. The bus stop is just steps down the street and many buses stop there.

  Bardzo polecamy apartamenty Lawenda dla rodzin z dziećmi. Byliśmy z trójką dzieci w wieku 6/9/12,. Dwa osobne pokoje sypialniane sporej wielkości , salon z sofą rozkładaną do spania stanowiło dla nas BARDZO korzystne i komfortowe warunki.
  Duża przestrzeń , kuchnia w pełni wyposażona
  , łazienka duża z wygodnym prysznicem sporej wielkości ( osoby otyłe na spokojnie obrócą się ).
  Jestem bardzo wybredna i często podróżuje jednakże ta lokalizacja przy Bloniach stanowi rewelacyjną bazę wypadową, szczególnie polecam Park dr H. Jordana na miejsce zabawy i wypoczynku dzieci ( spędziliśmy tutaj całe popołudnie).
  Dodatkowy plus pyszna kawa z ekspresu kapsułkowego Tchibo.

  Czyściutko, wygodnie, duża dbałość o szczegóły. Zaraz obok przystanek autobusowy – wszędzie można wygodnie dojechać. W bonusie ekspres do kawy i kapsułki. Bardzo dziękujemy za miły pobyt! 🙂

  Alles war perfekt! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, modern und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren frisch und sauber. Es wurde wirklich an jedes Detail gedacht – zum Beispiel Lavendelsäckchen in der Kommode und bereitgestelltes Wasser im Kühlschrank. Auch das Badezimmer und die Dusche waren sehr sauber und haben angenehm gerochen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!
