Apartamenty Meiera Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Apartamenty Meiera? The moment I walked in, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment. I mean, that 8.6 rating isn’t just numbers on a booking site – you can actually feel why people keep coming back to this place.

The apartment-style setup is honestly perfect if you’re tired of cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. There’s actual space to spread out, and the kitchen – well, it’s not just some tiny kitchenette with a sad mini-fridge. You can actually cook a proper meal if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. I found myself making coffee in the morning and just sitting by the window, watching the neighborhood wake up. There’s something really satisfying about having that bit of normalcy when you’re traveling, especially if you’re staying more than just a couple nights. The Wi-Fi was solid too (I know, I know, but it matters when you’re trying to video call home or get some work done).

What really sold me on the place though was how quiet it gets in the evenings. During the day there’s the usual city buzz, but once things settle down, you’re not dealing with paper-thin walls or hallway conversations at 2 AM. The building feels substantial, if that makes sense – like it was built to last, not just thrown together. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too; none of that overly formal hotel lobby dance where everyone’s trying too hard to be impressive. Just practical, friendly service from people who seem to actually care that you have what you need. I did notice the area gets pretty lively on weekend nights, which could go either way depending on what you’re after – personally, I liked having some energy in the neighborhood rather than being stuck somewhere completely dead after 9 PM.

Reviews of Apartamenty Meiera

  • Alicja from United States (9/10)

we were not familiar with this keys code system, but we called at 2 am to the host and we have help other the phone.

  • Kaishi from Japan (9/10)

The apartment was in a clean residential area with a safe environment and plenty of supermarkets, making it very convenient to live in. There were also a few cafes and restaurants nearby. Although the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. I appreciated having free access to the washing machine. While it was a bit of a walk to the tram stop, the access to the city center was still convenient. Some neighbors smoked on the balcony, and the smell got into the room. I contacted the host about it, and they promptly addressed the issue. After that, there was no more smell of smoke.

  • Malgorzata from United Kingdom (8/10)

Modern, clean studio with a balcony. Located in an apartment building in the outskirts of Krakow. The bed was comfortable for one person, but I would find it a bit narrow for two. There was a washing machine, shared between 3 or 4 apartments. Bus stop for just in front of the building. More buses and trams accessible after 5-10 mins walk. A couple of supermarkets nearby. Friendly owner/caretaker. From a point of view of a solo traveller I felt safe both in the building and in the area.

  • Tatyana from Bulgaria (9/10)

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, it was clean and we had a reserved parking space. The location was very convenient for us. Nearby there are many well-stocked grocery stores, a pharmacy, KFC and others. We would go back a third time.

  • Zuzanna from United Kingdom (9/10)

Lovely, quiet place approx 10mins on the tram from city centre. Good transport links by bus and tram. Very close to local shops. No issues with checking in or checking out. Instructions were very easy to follow.

  • Tatyana from Bulgaria (9/10)

I liked the location of the apartment, there are public transport stops, grocery stores, playgrounds nearby. The apartment has everything necessary for the stay of a family, cooking utensils, a comfortable bed, etc. We also had a reserved parking space under the building, which was very convenient for us. We would repeat our stay again.
