You know what caught me off guard about Apartamenty Prestige Browar Lubicz? The name makes it sound like some corporate chain, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected. It’s tucked right in the heart of Stare Miasto – and I mean properly in the old town, not just claiming to be nearby like half these places do. The building itself has this interesting industrial-meets-historic vibe that actually works, probably because Krakow does that whole “repurposed brewery” thing better than most cities.

The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious, which is refreshing after staying in those shoebox “studios” that seem to be everywhere now. I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The kitchens are properly equipped too – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking space if you want to hit up the local markets and make something. The whole setup feels like someone actually thought about how people travel these days, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. What really impressed me was the attention to details that matter – decent water pressure (thank god), blackout curtains that actually block light, and internet that doesn’t give up the moment you try to video call home.

Location-wise, you’re basically spoiled for choice here. The main square is close enough that you can stumble back after a night out, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the worst of the tourist chaos first thing in the morning. I loved being able to walk to all those little streets around Florianska without having to navigate crowds or figure out trams every time I wanted to grab coffee. The rating of 9.6 honestly makes sense – it’s one of those places where the small things are done right, and after a few days you start taking it for granted until you remember how annoying travel accommodation usually is. Staff actually seems to know the neighborhood too, which is rarer than it should be. Fair warning though – if you’re driving, ask about parking ahead of time because the old town streets can be… well, let’s just say they weren’t designed with rental cars in mind.

  Very comfortable apartment with good repair. The apartment had all the necessary household items, including various small items; one comfortable bed and one large sofa bed, large TV, Internet, shower, etc. It is located near the center, not far from the train station and shopping center, in a new building.
