Hotel Description
So I ended up at the Sun & Snow Bogusławskiego apartments last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those places that grows on you. First impression was pretty standard – I mean, it’s a 3-star spot, so you’re not walking into marble lobbies or anything fancy. But the location is actually what sold me on it, and I think that’s what you’re really paying for here.
The thing about this place is it sits in this sweet spot where you can walk to Old Town without dealing with all the tourist chaos right outside your window. You know how some “near Old Town” places are either too far to actually walk, or so close you can’t sleep because of street performers at midnight? This one gets it right. I could stroll to the main square in about ten minutes, but the street itself was quiet enough that I actually got decent sleep. The apartments themselves are pretty spacious – way more room than your typical hotel room, which was perfect since I was there for almost a week. Kitchen’s basic but functional, and honestly, being able to make coffee in the morning instead of hunting for an overpriced café was clutch.
What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the area. When I asked about where to grab groceries that weren’t tourist-priced, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point me to the closest place – he told me about this little market two blocks over that locals use. That kind of insight makes a difference, you know? The 7.2 rating seems about right to me. It’s not going to blow your mind, but there weren’t any major disappointments either. The wifi worked fine, hot water was consistent, and the building itself felt secure. I did notice some wear around the edges – bathroom fixtures that have seen better days, that sort of thing – but nothing that actually impacted my stay.
The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that I really liked. You’ll hear normal city sounds, but it’s not overwhelming. Mornings were actually pretty peaceful, and I loved sitting by the window with coffee watching people head to work. If you’re the type who needs everything to be pristine and hotel-perfect, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a comfortable base with character that doesn’t cost a fortune and puts you within easy reach of everything you want to see, it’s solid. I’d definitely consider staying here again – sometimes the places that don’t try too hard to impress end up being exactly what you need.

Apartment was clean, kitchen was nicely equipped. Location is amazing. The main attractions and old town are within walking distance, quite safe area. Convenient check-in, just with code on the door. There is enough bed space for 3 adults and 2 kids (though someone needs to sleep in the living room on sofa).

Perfect apartment for a small family. Our teenager had separate bedroom and she was happy about it. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Location is really good between the Old Town and Jewish quarter, close to main attractions and public transport.
Communication is good. We asked for earlier check in and we got it.Wiktoria from Poland (4/10)
