The building itself has this gorgeous old-world character that you just can’t fake – thick walls that actually keep street noise out (thank god), these wonderfully uneven floors that creak just enough to remind you where you are, and windows that frame the city like postcards. I stayed in one of the larger units and was surprised by how much space I had – the kitchen was actually functional, not just a hot plate shoved in a corner like some places. The bathroom was modern enough that the shower had proper pressure, but they kept some of the original tilework that gives it personality. Little touches like that matter, you know? My only real complaint was that the Wi-Fi got a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone was streaming, but honestly, it forced me to actually explore the neighborhood instead of doom-scrolling.

What really sold me on the place, though, was the location and how the staff just… got it. They’re not trying to be your best friend, but when I asked about getting groceries, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the nearest tourist trap – he actually drew me a little map to the market locals use, and mentioned which bakery opens earliest if I needed coffee before my train. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference. The area itself is perfectly walkable, close enough to everything you want to see but far enough from the main drag that you’re not fighting crowds every time you step outside. I could walk to most of the major sights, but more importantly, I stumbled onto some incredible little restaurants just wandering around the neighborhood in the evenings. For a three-star place with an 8.1 rating, it punches way above its weight – I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier hotels that felt more generic and cost twice as much. If you’re the type who appreciates character over marble lobbies and wants to feel like you’re actually staying somewhere with a story, this place gets it right.

  Almost everything. The stairs were a little much for two 70 year olds, but it helped us burn off the calories from all the pierogis, gelato, and chimney cakes.

  The best part is the location, it couldn't be better – on the Main Market Square – so only a few steps from the door to the Christmas Market. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a large bathroom and great kitchen facilities. There were only 2 of us, but we could have come comfortably as a family of 4 for a short break. Easy access with the code for the door messaged to at check-in time.
  I would not hesitate to book this place again and visit Kracow – super city to visit.

  Amazing location in a historic building right on the main square in the old town. The building has a small courtyard and a Starbucks on the ground floor. Our apartment had a pretty big bathroom with shower and separate bath tub. It was all clean and tidy. Shared kitchen was nice and clean and not heavily used.
