But honestly, this place surprised me in all the right ways. The building itself has this understated charm that doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street, but once you’re inside, everything just feels… right. The lobby’s got these warm lighting fixtures that make the whole space feel welcoming rather than sterile, and the front desk staff actually seemed happy to see me (not always a given, let’s be honest).

What really won me over was the apartment setup – these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. I’m talking about proper living spaces with kitchenettes that you’d actually want to use, separate sleeping areas, and enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has decent water pressure. Small thing, but it matters when you’ve been walking around all day. The whole place feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a hotel room, which I guess is the point, but they really nailed the execution here.

I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the soundproofing was solid – didn’t hear much from neighboring rooms or street noise, which can be a real issue in some city locations. The cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work; everything was spotless without that overwhelming chemical smell some places have. One thing I appreciated was how the building seemed to attract a mix of business travelers and families, so there was this nice energy without being too corporate or too chaotic. Check-in was smooth, parking was straightforward (always a relief), and they had this genuine helpfulness about local recommendations that felt authentic rather than rehearsed. For a 3-star place, BC 29 Residence punches way above its weight – that 9.2 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen, it’s actually earned. If you’re looking for somewhere that gives you space to breathe and feels like home base rather than just a place to crash, this is definitely worth considering.

  Perfect accommodation for my stay in Krakow. Located in the Jewish quarter and just 15/20 min walk to the old town. We found it very easy to get into the place event at midnight & the apartment was modern, clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet and didn’t hear anything at night! Staff were very helpful & there was a place to store luggage on the last day

  The location was great , short walk from the town and brilliant square right next door with shops and food places. we did struggle to see the entry though as the sign for the building is on the glass of the door and hard to notice so maybe a more prominent sign would be helpful especially if arriving at night
