Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Aparthotel Globus – it’s one of those places that won’t wow you with marble lobbies or fancy doormen, but it gets the job done in a really solid way. The self-check-in thing actually works better than you’d expect, which is saying something because I’m usually skeptical about these automated systems. You’re right on Dietla Street, which honestly puts you in this sweet spot where you’re technically in Old Town but not drowning in tourist crowds every time you step outside.

The apartments themselves are… well, they’re proper apartments, not hotel rooms pretending to be apartments. I mean, you’ve got a real kitchen where you can actually cook something more ambitious than instant noodles, and the living spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile. The furnishings won’t make it into any design magazines, but everything works and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Dietla can be busy during the day with trams and traffic, but once evening hits, it settles down nicely. The windows are decent quality, so you’re not lying there listening to every conversation from the street.

Here’s what makes this place work, though – the location is genuinely useful rather than just “conveniently located” (whatever that means). You’re maybe a seven-minute walk to the Main Square, but you can also hit up the Galeria Kazimierz shopping center in about the same time if you need actual groceries or forgot to pack something important. The Jewish Quarter is right there too, which means you’ve got some of the city’s best restaurants within stumbling distance. Parking is… well, it’s Krakow Old Town, so don’t expect miracles, but there are options nearby if you’re driving. The tram connections are solid – you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without much fuss. Is it perfect? Not really – the 7.4 rating feels about right because there are small things that could be better. Sometimes the WiFi gets moody, and the check-in kiosks can be finicky if you’re not tech-savvy. But honestly, for the price point and what you get, especially if you’re staying more than just a night or two, it’s a smart choice. You feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it, you know?

  The cleanness of room, and quiet atmosphere, central position of location with direct transportation towards the city, center ,main station or visits places etc.
  
  What could be improved: The missing info`s on site that no reception desk on the site but all needs very easy and fast resolved by the existing one at the other hotel very closed of location only 100 meters which is part of same accomodation company.

  Clean & Tidy, I like the way we could let ourselves in by using the numbers on the intercom.
  
  What could be improved: It was very hot & the air conditioner in my room did not get cold enough, it was very uncomfortable trying to get to sleep. The whole building was very very warm even tho the air conditioner machines were on.
