Aparthotel Pergamin Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Aparthotel Pergamin on Długa Street, you immediately feel like you’ve found something special in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town. This three-star property sits right where the action is — I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Main Market Square, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re exploring the city. The building itself has that classic Kraków charm, and while it’s not trying to be fancy, there’s something genuinely welcoming about the place that puts you at ease right away.
Location Magic
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You can roll out of bed and be at St. Mary’s Basilica in about two minutes flat. The location score of 9.2 isn’t just numbers on a screen — it actually means something when you’re wandering back from dinner at 11 PM and don’t need to navigate confusing tram routes or wait for taxis. Couples seem to get this especially well (they rate the location 9.1), probably because there’s nothing quite like having all those romantic cobblestone streets and cozy wine bars right at your doorstep.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment setup here is what really sets Pergamin apart from your typical hotel stay. Each unit comes with its own kitchenette, which — let me tell you — becomes incredibly handy when you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market and have a quiet breakfast before the tourist crowds descend. The room layouts are thoughtfully designed, giving you actual living space rather than just a place to sleep. It’s that perfect middle ground between hotel service and having your own little Polish home base.
Morning Fuel
The breakfast situation here actually surprised me in the best way. They’ve got this buffet setup with full English options if you need something hearty, but they also do vegetarian dishes really well — something you don’t always find in this part of Europe. What I appreciated most was how they time everything, so you’re not fighting crowds at 8 AM or finding empty warming trays if you’re more of a slow-morning person. The dining area has these big windows that let in all that gorgeous Old Town morning light, which honestly makes even instant coffee taste better.
Why Guests Love It
Here’s the thing about Aparthotel Pergamin — it gets the balance right between being in the absolute center of everything and still feeling like a peaceful retreat. You’re not dealing with the noise issues you might expect from such a central location, and the staff seems to genuinely understand what travelers need (like decent WiFi and knowing where to find parking in the Old Town maze). It’s the kind of place where you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through, and that 8.0 rating reflects exactly that — solid, reliable, and genuinely pleasant without any pretense.

Location.
Ashley from United States (8/10)
The whole building is a guest house with self check in. The space was good for a solo traveler, may have needed more space for two people if staying for more than a night. I felt very safe in this guest house traveling alone as well as in the area at night.

Location was really good, and we had a balcony, albeit only big enough to stand on and not with a view.
