I mean, it’s got that 4-star rating for a reason, but what I really loved was how it doesn’t try too hard to be fancy. The aparthotel concept works brilliantly here – you get proper hotel service but with apartment-style setups that actually make sense if you’re staying more than just a night or two. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; they’re properly equipped, which saved me a fortune on breakfast and late-night snacks. And speaking of breakfast, the staff actually knows their neighborhood well enough to point you toward the local bakery that opens at 6 AM (trust me on this one).
What really sets this place apart – and probably explains that impressive 8.8 rating – is how they’ve managed to keep the authentic old town vibe without sacrificing modern comfort. The rooms have this perfect balance where you feel like you’re staying somewhere with real history, but the Wi-Fi actually works and the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint. I stayed during what turned out to be a pretty busy weekend, and while you could hear some street life through the windows (it’s old town, after all), it never felt intrusive. More like a gentle reminder that you’re right where the action is. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly formal hotel theater, just friendly people who clearly enjoy what they do. Honestly, places like this are why I prefer aparthotels when I’m exploring historic city centers. You get the independence to wander back whenever you want, grab a coffee from your own machine, and plan your day without feeling like you’re living in someone else’s schedule.

Very close to the main square. Everything was within a 10 minute walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely! And great value for money. It was my girlfriend’s birthday as well. And for a little extra cost got banners balloons and a bottle of champagne. Overall was an amazing stay. I would definitely return!

Lovely, clean and warm room with comfortable beds. It was in a great location near the square for sight seeing, restaurants and bars. The room looks exactly as the pictures – the brickwork and interior are stunning. It exceeded our expectations and we would recommend and stay here again.
