You know what struck me first about Apartment Blue? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – there’s this calming blue accent wall that somehow makes the whole space feel bigger than it is. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of Krakow apartments where the photos were… let’s say optimistic, but this place on Romanowicza delivers exactly what it promises.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it. You’re in Podgórze, which – and this is something most tourists don’t realize – is where all the locals actually want to live these days. It’s across the river from the Old Town chaos, but here’s the thing: you can walk to Schindler’s Factory in literally five minutes, and the walk into the main square takes maybe 20 minutes tops. Plus there’s this great little bakery two streets over on Lwowska that does these incredible zapiekanki that’ll cost you about three złoty. The tram stop is right there too, so on days when you don’t feel like walking, you’re downtown in ten minutes.

What really sold me on this place though was the attention to detail – and I’m talking about stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower has proper water pressure (thank god), there’s enough counter space in the kitchen to actually cook if you want to, and the Wi-Fi works everywhere, not just in one corner of the living room. The bed is comfortable without being too soft, which seems like such a small thing until you’re dealing with a saggy mattress somewhere else. I also loved that they had proper blackout curtains – Krakow summers mean the sun’s up at like 5 AM, so you’ll appreciate that. The only minor thing I’d mention is that it can get a bit warm in summer since it’s a top floor unit, but honestly, that just means you get these amazing views over the rooftops toward Wawel Castle.

The whole building is quiet too, which surprised me given how central everything is. I mean, you’re still in a city, so there’s some street noise, but nothing that kept me awake. And parking – if you’re driving – there’s usually space on the street, though like anywhere in Krakow, you might have to circle the block once or twice during busy periods. The host was incredibly responsive too, which you really appreciate when you’re trying to navigate a new city and have random questions about everything from where to get groceries to which museums are worth the entry fee.

Honestly, after staying here, I can’t imagine picking one of those generic hotels in the tourist zone. This feels like you’re getting a genuine slice of how people actually live in Krakow, but with all the comfort and cleanliness you want when you’re on vacation. That 9.8 rating isn’t just people being nice – it’s because this place gets all the little things right that turn a good trip into a great one.

  Nový čistý byt s garáží, v bytovém komplexu. Do centra města je to pěšky cca 30 minut. První den jsme centrum navštívili pěšky, ale od druhého dne jsme s ohledem na nízkou cenu používali taxi Uber. Taxi vždy přijelo do 5ti minut a pro čtyři pasažéry je to levnější varianta než veřejná doprava.
  
  What could be improved: Pro rodinu s dětmi ideální. Pokud jsou ale ubytovaní 4 dospělí, tak v druhém pokoji se nevyspí, postel je úzká. Je to ale řešitelné, Dva mohou přespat na vcelku pohodlné rozkládací sedací soupravě v obývacím pokoji.

  Znakomita lokalizacja, blisko do centrum. Można skorzystać z komunikacji miejskiej, lub w 20 minut dotrzeć tam spokojnym spacerkiem. Apartament bardzo przestronny, z wszelkimi wygodami i dużym balkonem. W bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie sporo restauracji, knajpek i sklepów. Dzięki miejscówce w garażu pod budynkiem nie ma problemów z parkowaniem. Mieszkanie bardzo czyste i znakomicie wyposażone – niczego nam nie brakowało.

  Miałem przyjemność spędzić kilka dni w tym apartamencie z przyjaciółmi i muszę przyznać, że był to wyjątkowo komfortowy pobyt. Już od pierwszych chwil widać było, że właściciele zadbali o każdy szczegół – wnętrze jest nowoczesne, gustownie urządzone i bardzo czyste.
  
  Lokalizacja to ogromny atut – blisko do najważniejszych atrakcji, a jednocześnie w spokojnej okolicy, co pozwalało na relaks po dniu pełnym wrażeń. Apartament był w pełni wyposażony – wygodne łóżka, dobrze zaopatrzona kuchnia, przestronny salon, szybkie Wi-Fi i przyjemny balkon, na którym można było wypić poranną kawę.
  
  Kontakt z gospodarzem był wzorowy – szybkie odpowiedzi, pomocne wskazówki i miłe powitanie sprawiły, że czułam się tutaj jak w domu. Zdecydowanie polecam ten apartament każdemu, kto szuka idealnego miejsca na pobyt! Na pewno wrócę przy najbliższej okazji.
