Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Apartment in Center” I thought it was going to be one of those generic rental places with zero personality. But walking up to Mikołajska 6, you realize you’re actually staying on one of those perfect Old Town streets that tourists spend hours trying to find. You know the kind – cobblestones that aren’t too uneven for your suitcase wheels, beautiful old buildings that aren’t completely overrun with souvenir shops.

The thing about this place is that it sits right in that sweet spot where you’re genuinely in the heart of everything, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main square every time you step outside. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from St. Mary’s Basilica, but at night it actually gets quiet enough to sleep with the windows cracked open. The apartment itself has that lived-in feeling – not fancy, but everything works and it’s clear someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen has real coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones), there’s decent water pressure, and honestly, the WiFi is better than most places I’ve stayed in Poland.

What really sold me on the area though was discovering that tiny milk bar tucked away on Grodzka Street – you’ll walk past it probably five times before you notice it exists, but locals line up there every morning. And if you’re the type who likes to wander around early before the crowds hit, you’ll love stepping out at 7 AM when the street cleaners are finishing up and the whole Old Town feels like it’s yours. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a solid place to crash that happens to put you right where you want to be. Sure, you might hear some weekend revelry from the nearby pubs, but that’s part of staying in a real neighborhood instead of some sterile hotel district. Plus, good luck finding anywhere with this much character and location for the price during peak season.

  So close to the centre. Functional apartment. I know that sounds odd, but how many times have you stayed somewhere and the shower is naff, or the toilet don’t flush etc.

  Fantastic location, lovely quaint apartment, super safe! Nice and modern, lovely and warm! Would definitely recommend.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was the noisy pigeons but that is nothing to do with the apartment itself! I would definitely stay again.

  Apartment was beautifully done. Fantastic location just off the square. Not to small. Very safe and secure, comfy bed the quilts were hotel quality, has everything you need, great price. Shower gel, tea, coffee, pots pans, cutlery etc. just incase you did want to cook not that we did lol. hairdryer, table to sit at would definitely stay again 10/10 for me
  
  What could be improved: Bein very picky here but need to supply bath towels not hand towels. I only say this because I like to get out of the shower and wrap a towel around me while getting ready you can't do this with hand towels.

  Everything about the apartment I liked. It was very clean and it had all the features of a hotel.
  
  What could be improved: I’m not sure if the person cleaning outside of apartment is associated with the one I was staying in but she was very rude. I tried asking her what do I do with the trash and she was speaking in polish and the way her actions of waving her arms in a negative way. This was not the nice lady who received me when I arrived.
