Hotel Description
Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Apartment St. Mark’s Square,” I was expecting something touristy and overpriced. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked right on Świętego Marka street, which puts you literally in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town without being on one of those crazy busy streets where you can’t sleep because of the horse carriages clattering by at all hours.
What I really love about this spot is that you’re close enough to walk to the Main Square in maybe three minutes (I timed it), but you’re on this quieter side street where locals actually live and work. There’s this little bakery around the corner that opens at 6 AM – you know, the kind where the smell of fresh bread drifts up to your windows and makes you feel like you’re living some kind of European dream. The apartments themselves feel more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a hotel. I mean, they’ve got that polished, modern vibe but with enough character that it doesn’t feel sterile. The 4-star rating is spot on – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but everything works properly, the WiFi is solid, and the beds are actually comfortable (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in historic city centers).
Here’s what really sold me though – the location gives you options. You can stumble home from the bars on Floriańska Street in five minutes, but if you want to escape the tourist crowds, you’re also walking distance from Kazimierz district where things feel more authentic. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town Krakow, so don’t expect miracles, but there are a couple of garages within reasonable walking distance. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “where do I go, who do I call” confusion you sometimes get with apartment-style places. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re traveling in summer, especially during festival season, book early because places like this fill up fast. The combination of that 8.9 rating and the prime location means it’s not exactly a secret anymore. But honestly? Even with higher demand, it maintains that relaxed, non-touristy feel that makes you want to extend your stay just to pretend you’re a local for a few more days.
Hotel in Krakow booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural festivals and medieval celebrations.

Interesting Apartment – Nigel from United Kingdom – September 14, 2024 (9/10)
Absolutely loved our 5 night stay in this very unique apartment. The decor felt so authentic for an older building in Poland. Location perfect just a 3 minute walk to main square while remaining so quiet. Comfortable, secure and well equpped. Check in procedure really easy.
What could be improved: Only one thing lacking is a shower curtain over the bathA place to enjoy. – Paul from United Kingdom – June 20, 2024 (10/10)
There was nothing to dislike, the apartment is in a very quiet part of Krakow, the place is very clean and comfortable. It is situated in a beautiful little courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the warm evenings, we have stayed in Krakow many times and this is the best apartment we have stayed in.

Great style! Very different from the other apartments in Kraków
What could be improved: A little bit cold for meQuiet Art Deco apartment, in a great location. Just let down by the shower arrangement. – Diana from New Zealand – July 18, 2025 (7/10)
The location was excellent.
The Apartment is spacious, art deco like.
Very quiet place which was great
Good communication with host.
What could be improved: The shower is a hand held shower in a bath, with no curtain. Hard for older people, as you really need to sit in the bath. There is a stool, but the water goes everywhere over the floor.
Just 2 pillows on the bed, and no cushions that we could find.
A light over the kitchen sink would helpgood location and spacious, but really needs to be renovated – Ludovica from Switzerland – August 2, 2024 (7/10)
Place was large, great location, nice hosts
What could be improved: The bedroom smelled like an antique shop, especially the bed. furniture is very old, would really need a renovation.
