Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Krakow’s Old Town, and honestly, most of them are either tourist traps with zero character or charming spots that’ll have you listening to drunk college kids until 3 AM. Aparts Jablonowskich somehow manages to thread this needle perfectly – you’re right in the thick of things on Jabłonowskich street, but tucked away enough that you can actually sleep.

The thing that got me about this place is how they’ve done the apartments. I mean, you walk in and it doesn’t feel like someone just threw together whatever furniture they had lying around (which, let’s be honest, happens way too often with rental apartments). The kitchenette actually has everything you need if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up, though you know what? You’re so close to all the good restaurants that you probably won’t cook much. I’m talking a three-minute walk to get to the main square – and I actually timed it because I’m weird like that. You can literally hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s Basilica if you open your windows, which sounds touristy but is actually pretty magical when you’re having morning coffee.

What really sold me on the place was the little details that show someone’s actually thinking about travelers, not just processing them. The WiFi works everywhere (tried it from the bathroom, don’t judge), there’s proper blackout curtains so you can sleep past sunrise, and – this might sound minor but it’s huge – the shower has actual water pressure. Plus the check-in was refreshingly normal; no weird key pickup locations or confusing building codes that GPS can’t figure out. The building itself has that solid, old Krakow feel without being creaky or drafty. You’re on a quiet side street but Floriańska is right there when you want to dive into the chaos of tourists and street performers. Parking’s the usual Old Town nightmare, but honestly, once you’re here you won’t need a car anyway. I walked everywhere or grabbed the occasional tram when I wanted to check out Kazimierz. The 8.5 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it nails everything it’s actually going for. Four stars feels right too; comfortable and well-run without any pretensions. If you want to actually experience Krakow instead of just staying somewhere convenient to it, this works.

Reviews

  • Happy client – Agnieszka from Ireland – June 13, 2025 (8/10)

Location is fantastic! Everything you need for your stay were there including soap, washing liquid, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar, iron and ironing board. Very close to Wawel Castle and Old Town. Excellent location.

What could be improved: Lack of dishwasher. Poor internet connection and no tv programmes apart from You Tube and Rakuten.

  • Great little apartment – Bernardo from United Kingdom – February 21, 2025 (9/10)

Great location, apartment has all what you can possibly need, all clean and in working order.

What could be improved: The only thing (being picky) is that ceiling in bed area is a bit low (problem if you are taller than 1.6 mt), but is manageable.

  • Very Good – Gg from Greece – November 20, 2024 (8/10)

A comfortable, simple but beautiful apartment, perfectly located.

  • Amazing value for money – Nina from United Kingdom – June 3, 2024 (8/10)

    What could be improved: None.

  • Wonderful – Катерина from Ukraine – April 2, 2024 (9/10)

The location was perfect and the property itself was clean and comfortable.

What could be improved: Sometimes there was a bad smell in the bathroom, especially when we weren’t in the apartment and the ventilator there wasn’t working.

  • nice comfortable apartment in amazing area – Оксана from Ukraine – March 27, 2024 (8/10)

    It was very easy

What could be improved: when I had shower the water was getting through all the bathroom

  • Wonderful – Ruth from Malta – March 8, 2024 (9/10)

The apartment had basic needs and appeared recently refurbished. It is in a relatively quiet area and not far from city square. Although we did not meet the host, she was helpful and available throughout our stay

What could be improved: sometimes there was a smell in the bathroom. We managed to control it by not throwing toilet paper in toilet, as much as possible and left the extractor on.

  • Exceptional – Maisie from United Kingdom – January 30, 2024 (10/10)

Such a cosy apartment with everything you could need! So central and amazing value for money.
