Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Krakow over the years, and App Arte Old City by Homey honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to Daszyńskiego 13 in Grzegórzki, I’ll admit I was a bit confused – this isn’t exactly where you’d expect to find a boutique-style place. But that’s actually what makes it brilliant. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the main square (I timed it), but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos and those ridiculous summer crowds that make Floriańska Street feel like a sardine can.

The building itself has this interesting mix of old Krakow architecture with really thoughtful modern touches – you know what I mean, where someone actually cared about the design instead of just slapping some IKEA furniture together and calling it “contemporary.” The apartments (because that’s really what they are) feel like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place, except everything actually works and there’s proper coffee. Speaking of coffee, there’s this little spot called Kawiarnia Nowa just around the corner that the front desk told me about – totally worth the two-minute walk if you’re picky about your morning brew like I am. What really got me was how quiet it is at night, which honestly shocked me because Krakow can get pretty rowdy, especially during festival season. The location on Daszyńskiego puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that you’re not hearing drunk tourists singing at 3 AM.

The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s those little details that add up. Like, the check-in process was actually smooth (revolutionary concept, right?), and when I mentioned I was there for work, they set me up in a unit with a proper desk setup near the window. The kitchenette situation is legit too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights and don’t want to eat pierogi for every single meal, delicious as they are. I mean, there’s a Żabka practically next door for basics, and if you want to do some real grocery shopping, there’s a decent-sized market about five minutes away on foot. One thing worth mentioning – if you’re the type who needs to be right in the thick of things, this might feel a bit removed, but honestly, that’s exactly why I’d come back. You get the authentic Krakow experience without feeling like you’re living in a tourist attraction. Plus, the tram connections from this area are actually better than from some of the more central spots, which is weirdly convenient if you want to explore beyond the Old Town bubble.

  Хочу залишити дуже гарний відгук про цю квартиру. Ми проживали в ній 5 днів. 4 дорослих і 2 дітей. Нам було дуже комфортно! По-перше, дуже зручне розташування квартири по відношенню до старого міста з усіма історичними пам'ятками, а також, поруч магазини Жабка, Бедренка і Хала торгова. Сама квартира дуже тепла і зручна. Зручні кроваті! Достатньо посуду навіть для великої родини. Є пральна машинка. І окрема подяка власнику квартири за продумані зручності! В квартирі був чай, цукор, капсули для прання, пакети для сміття; пилесос, віник і швабра. В цій квартирі можна проживати значно більший термін.

  Дуже привітний власник. Відповідав досить швидко та інформативно. Безключовий доступ до дверей будинку (через телефонний номер) та кодовий доступ до апартаментів. В квартирі є все що потрібно для тривалого проживання.

  What could be improved: Владелец потребовал депозит в размере 500 злотых. Потребовал срочным переводом в день заселения, а отдавал несколько дней, хотя должен был отдать в день отьезда. В номере грязно. Пыль на шкафах, пыль на зеркале, испачкала кофту запыленой полочкой. Ванная есть, а вот пробки до ванной нету. Без смысла. Заселение как нигда только после 16:00, а вот выехать обязанны до 10:00 (хотя везде 14:00-15:00 и выезд 11:00-12:00). Но самое худшее, нам стояли уже возле двери и звонили в звонок в 09:30 уборщица, хотя сам же хозяин сказал что бы до 10:00. Вообщем подход владельца к жильцам очень слабый, дополнительные расходы в форме депозита (где об этом нигде не написано и всю ответственность ведёт букинг). Мне не понравилось, я бы не советовал. Уверен что рядом можно найти на много лучше и по лучшей цене
