Honestly, when I first walked up to Aron Residence on Miodowa Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the entrance is pretty understated, which I actually love because it means you’re not dealing with tour groups clogging up the lobby. But once you’re inside, you realize this place gets it right in ways that matter. The whole “by Upstairs” thing isn’t just marketing speak – they’ve genuinely thought about the details that make a stay memorable rather than just functional.

What really struck me is how they’ve managed to feel both polished and lived-in at the same time. The rooms have this sort of boutique hotel sophistication without being stuffy about it, and honestly, the beds are fantastic (I’m picky about this stuff). You know what’s great? The location puts you right in the heart of Old Town, but Miodowa is just quiet enough that you’re not hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM like you would closer to the Main Square. I mean, you can walk to Cloth Hall in maybe eight minutes, but you can actually sleep through the night. The neighborhood has this authentic feel too – there’s a little bakery around the corner that locals actually use, not just a tourist trap.

The staff here actually knows Krakow, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a generic list – they asked what I was in the mood for and sent me to this incredible pierogi place that wasn’t in my guidebook. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with city tax or anything like that. The common areas have good WiFi if you need to get work done (learned this the hard way at other places), and there’s something nice about the morning light in the breakfast area. Fair warning though – if you’re driving, parking in Old Town is always going to be a bit of a production, but they’ll point you toward the best options nearby. I’d definitely come back here, which for me is the real test. It’s one of those places that just feels right without trying too hard to impress you.

  Fully professional attitude, very helpful, great facility, clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, near the center, quiet area, easy to find, would definitely recommend and come again. 10 star. Thank you.
  
  What could be improved: If you want breakfast, you need to transfer money to a Polish iban, problem for a foreign account, extra cost, it is not possible to pay courier by cash or credit card. If you solve this, it would be all perfect. Because otherwise all is great.

  Great apartment – clean and cozy. Very close to the Jewish Quarter and also an easy walk to the old town – a tram stop is also available. Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. We got a studio and it had almost everything essential for us. Smooth self check-in and check-out. Rapid response from the host during our stay. There was also a washing machine in the basement but we did not use it.
  
  What could be improved: The parking info is confusing – it says private parking is available on site (reservation is needed) and a parking garage is available – once we booked, the host told us that no on-site parking was available but there was a paid secured parking lot nearby. The parking itself did not come to be a problem to us while we were finally there as the parking lot was only 5 min away by walk and quite affordable – but the info provided beforehand is kind of misleading

  The location is perfect, quite close to many tourist attractions.

  What could be improved: I just don't like the washing machine part. There's no machine inside the apartment, and you have to use the (only one is working) common washing machine that takes a lot of time as other people also use it.

  The apartment was very clean and cozy. We had plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels provided. The host was very responsive to questions and seems like a genuinely kind person! The location was great, it only took us 8ish min to walk to the nearest train platform and 15 to get into old town. Also, there are many convenience stores within a 1-5min walk so we always had access to everything we needed!
