The thing is, AVANTI Home doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The lobby has this mix of modern furniture and slightly worn rugs that actually works somehow, like someone’s stylish aunt decorated the place over time rather than hiring some corporate design firm. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no pushy upsells or lengthy explanations about amenities I’ll never use. The staff seemed to actually recognize returning guests, which is rare these days. My room wasn’t huge, but it had these thoughtful touches that made me think someone who travels a lot designed it. The bedside outlets were exactly where you’d want them (why is this so hard for most hotels?), and there was enough counter space in the bathroom that I didn’t have to play Tetris with my toiletries.

What really sold me on this place was the breakfast setup – not fancy, but they had actually good coffee and pastries that tasted homemade rather than shipped from some warehouse. I overheard other guests chatting with the morning staff like they were old friends, which tells you something about the kind of place this is. The building itself is pretty quiet, even on weekends, though you might catch some street sounds if you’re a really light sleeper. Parking was easier than I anticipated, and they don’t charge extra for it, which honestly feels like a small miracle these days. The whole experience reminded me why sometimes the best places are the ones that focus on getting the basics really right instead of trying to wow you with marble everything and complicated room controls. If you’re looking for Instagram-perfect luxury, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want somewhere that feels genuine and comfortable – like staying at a friend’s well-appointed guest room – AVANTI Home delivers in ways that surprised me.

  Location was amazing, everything was within walking distance. The self check in and self check out was so convenient. We were so delighted to be allowed a later check out too and a space to leave our luggage as we had a late evening flight. I loved the kitchenette we used the fridge and kettle loads. The use of the nespresso coffee machine in the lobby area was a lovely touch.

  Lovely clean well equpped apartment in excellent location about 10 minutes walk to old town. The owners are so accomodating, allowing us to leave our luggage on last day and also giving us a later checkout.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avanti HOME. It is in an excellent central location which was ideal for us as there was so much we wanted to see and do. The room was clean, tidy, cosy and comfortable at a very reasonable price. It was also very spacious for 3 of us to fit into as I was little concerned it maybe too small. The shower was hot and bathroom quite modern and there is also a little lift you can use which may seem a little scary at first, but is fine once you get used to it. We where on the 4th so used it quite a lot.
