Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at my share of fancy hotels in Krakow, but the Bachleda Luxury just hits differently. Walking up to this place on Plac Kossaka — honestly, I had to double-check the address because it’s tucked into this gorgeous corner spot that feels both central and somehow secret. The building itself has this incredible story (it’s actually a restored historical gem), and you can tell they spent serious money making sure every detail was right.
What gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to feel distinctly Polish without going overboard with the folk art situation. The interiors are sophisticated in a way that doesn’t scream “look how expensive I am,” if you know what I mean. My room had these massive windows overlooking the courtyard, and honestly, the silence surprised me — Krakow’s old town can get pretty rowdy, especially during summer weekends when the stag parties descend, but somehow you’re insulated from all that chaos here. The MGallery connection shows too; there’s this attention to the small stuff that you don’t always get, even at five-star places. I mean, the bathroom amenities were actually worth taking home, and the bed… well, let’s just say checkout felt personally offensive.
Here’s the thing though — and this is why I keep coming back to this spot when I’m in town — the location is absolutely killer for anyone who wants to actually explore Krakow properly. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Main Market Square, but you’re positioned in a way where you can easily duck down toward Kazimierz (the old Jewish quarter, which is where all the best restaurants are hiding these days) or hop over toward Wawel Castle without fighting through the tourist crowds on Floriańska Street. The staff actually knows the city too, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how rare that is. They pointed me toward this tiny wine bar on Stolarska that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking was surprisingly painless — they’ve got valet service that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being judged for your rental car situation. And honestly? For a 9.5-rated place, it doesn’t feel stuffy or intimidating. You can show up after a day of wandering around in comfortable shoes and nobody’s giving you looks. That balance between luxury and livability is harder to nail than you’d think, but they’ve got it figured out here.

Reviews
Would definitely stay there again. – Joanne from United States – July 28, 2025 (10/10)
Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely, helpful staff. Very nice breakfast. Room was not huge but very nicely furnished, with thoughtful details. In all, one of the nicest boutique hotels I've stayed in.
What could be improved: The location was very good for us, but I imagine some people would not like the 10+ minute walk to market square.Would definitely recommend this stunning hotel! – Irene from United Kingdom – July 27, 2025 (8/10)
Very luxurious
What could be improved: NothingGreat Location, Staff and Rooms – Mike from United Kingdom – July 23, 2025 (8/10)
The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed – we were in the Deluxe King Room.
There was a stocked fridge, kettle and coffee machine.
Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
The Hotel is about 20mins walk from the main square in the Old Town and close to the river and castle. We walked to all the local attractions including the industrial/transport museum, Schindler's Factory, the Mound, St Florian's Gate, the Barbican and all the restaurants and bars in the Old Town
What could be improved: The cost of the food was eye watering £28 each for a cold buffet breakfast.
We had a massage which was done in a bedroom with two pop-up massage tables – quite possibly the worst massage we've ever had!Gorgeous hotel with outstanding staff and a beautiful bar area – Nicholas from France – July 7, 2025 (9/10)
This is a beautiful hotel in every sense. Stunning decor, very luxurious and spotlessly clean. All of the staff were supremely friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for us – a 15/20 minute walk into Krakow Old Town and with a bus stop 200 metres away.
Our room matched the rest of the hotel for cleanliness, decor and was a very good size.
We didn't get time to use the spa or swimming pool but I have to mention the fantastic bar. We used this on a couple of occasions after very long days out and it was perfect. It is immaculately laid out and decorated and the staff made excellent cocktails. On both occasions we ordered bar snacks and these too were first class. On one occasion we were the only ones in the bar and it's a perfect place to relax and unwind.
What could be improved: We had the breakfast on our first morning of 5 and to be honest it really wasn't worth the money. Maybe we were just unlucky but after that we found a few different places in town that offered fresh cooked food for half the price rather than a buffet style breakfast which neither of us are great fans of unless done very well.Stunning – Judy from United Kingdom – July 5, 2025 (10/10)

The property was 5 star . Very well appointed with an excellent staff. The location is perfect. The way a 5 star hotel should be. The restaurant had a wonderful selection of food that was delicious.
What could be improved: The hotel could use a ramp for luggage.Fantastic short stay – Mark from United Kingdom – June 12, 2025 (10/10)

Beautiful hotel. Staff were polite and helpful during our stay – a credit to the hotel. Within walking distance to the river and to the main market square. If in Krakow again would stay at this hotel.
What could be improved: Nothing not to like
