Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Barska 69 Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much from the address alone. But you know what? This place completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked away in Debniki, which is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to the Old Town (I timed it), but here’s the thing – you’re away from all that tourist chaos while still being close enough to stumble back after a night out on Floriańska Street.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive. I stayed in what felt like a proper flat, not some cramped hotel room with a tiny kitchenette slapped in the corner. The space actually breathes, if that makes sense – high ceilings, decent-sized windows that let in real light, and furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a budget catalog. The kitchen was functional enough that I could make proper coffee in the morning (essential) and even cook dinner a couple nights when I got tired of pierogi. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which matters when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules or book restaurant reservations. One small thing – the shower pressure was just okay, not amazing, but honestly after walking around Krakow all day, I wasn’t too picky.

What really sold me on this place was the neighborhood vibe. Debniki feels residential in the best way – you’ve got locals walking their dogs, actual grocery stores instead of tourist shops, and this lovely quiet that settles in after evening. The trams run regularly (the 18 and 19 lines are your friends here), and there’s something satisfying about figuring out the local transport instead of just taking taxis everywhere. Plus, you’re genuinely close to some spots that most visitors miss – there’s this little café about three blocks away that serves the best zapiekanka I had during my entire trip, and I probably tried a dozen different ones. The building itself is well-maintained without being sterile, and check-in was straightforward – no drama, no waiting around in a lobby. Parking was available when I needed it, though I’d recommend asking about it when you book since Krakow parking can be… well, let’s just say it’s not always straightforward. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and being connected to the city, this place actually delivers on both fronts.

  Good location for the transport- a bus station in front of the building, a clean apartment, a food shop located in the building.
  
  What could be improved: There should have been three beds (a double bed and a single bed) in the bedroom and there was only a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room which was disappointment (apartment Flora). There were no dishwasher tablets- only one roll of a paper dish towel- no textile dish towel. The view from the apartment was on the bus station.

  Spotless apartment in new building, across river, next to Holiday Inn hotel, which makes perfect address for pick up. There is a bus that drops you from an airport directly accommodation.
  
  What could be improved: Minor technical mislead with self-check in instructions.
  Reached out to staff who was prompt to assist.
  It seemed most of TV channels were scrambled, but didn't really mind.

  The location is excellent..and the cleanliness is good..all groceries and supermarkets are close to you..a transportation station in front of you…the river is very close..the kitchen has all the necessary tools for cooking..the safety features of the facility are worth mentioning…thank you to the owner.
