Barska 69 Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Barska 69 Apartments, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something special in Krakow. The building sits quietly on a tree-lined street in Debniki, and honestly, the whole area just feels more authentic than the tourist-packed Old Town — though you’re still close enough to walk there in about fifteen minutes. I mean, this is exactly the kind of neighborhood where locals actually live, with corner cafes and small shops that haven’t been turned into souvenir stands yet.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — couples consistently rate the location over 9 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re in Debniki, which is sort of Krakow’s best-kept secret for travelers who want to experience the city like a local. The Vistula River is just a short stroll away, and you know what? Some of the best riverside walks in the city happen right there. Plus, you’ve got easy access to both the Jewish Quarter and the main square without dealing with the crowds every time you step outside your door.
The Apartment Experience
This four-star property really nails the apartment-style accommodation — you get proper living spaces that actually feel like temporary homes rather than hotel rooms. The kitchenettes are genuinely functional (not just for show), which is perfect if you want to grab fresh bread from the local bakery or pick up ingredients from the nearby market. The apartments themselves are modern and well-maintained, with that clean Scandinavian-influenced design that seems to work so well in Polish cities these days.
What Makes It Special
The thing about Barska 69 Apartments is that it strikes this perfect balance between being residential and being tourist-friendly. You’re staying in what feels like a real Krakow neighborhood — there’s a tram stop nearby that connects you to everywhere you need to go, and the local restaurants around here serve proper Polish food at prices that won’t make you wince. I actually found some of my favorite pierogi at a tiny place just two blocks away that I never would have discovered if I’d stayed in the more obvious tourist areas.
Why Guests Love It
With an overall location score of 9.5, this place clearly gets something right that a lot of other accommodations miss. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it, but you’re not sacrificing convenience or comfort to get that experience. The apartment setup means you can spread out, do your laundry, maybe cook a meal — all those little things that make longer stays so much more pleasant. And honestly, for couples especially, there’s something really nice about having your own little corner of the city to come back to each evening.

Very nice and clean Apartment, very calm too.
What could be improved: 10/10Very Good – Pavlína from Czech Republic – August 10, 2025 (8/10)
Good location for the transport- a bus station in front of the building, a clean apartment, a food shop located in the building.
What could be improved: There should have been three beds (a double bed and a single bed) in the bedroom and there was only a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room which was disappointment (apartment Flora). There were no dishwasher tablets- only one roll of a paper dish towel- no textile dish towel. The view from the apartment was on the bus station.Exceptional – Dovilė from Lithuania – June 29, 2025 (10/10)

Spotless apartment in new building, across river, next to Holiday Inn hotel, which makes perfect address for pick up. There is a bus that drops you from an airport directly accommodation.
What could be improved: Minor technical mislead with self-check in instructions.
Reached out to staff who was prompt to assist.
It seemed most of TV channels were scrambled, but didn't really mind.Exceptional – Firdavs from United Kingdom – November 26, 2023 (10/10)
