You know what caught me off guard about BOB Elite Apartments? The moment you step through that entrance on Mikołajska, you’re basically in the heart of everything that matters in Krakow’s Old Town, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or chaotic. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Main Market Square – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but the street itself has this quieter, more residential vibe that most visitors never discover.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive for a 4-star place. They’ve got this modern, clean aesthetic without being sterile, and the kitchenettes are actually functional (not just for show like some places). What I really appreciated was the attention to soundproofing – Old Town can get pretty lively, especially during summer evenings when the outdoor restaurants are buzzing, but inside these units it’s surprisingly peaceful. The beds are proper comfortable too, which matters more than people think when you’re doing serious walking around cobblestone streets all day. One thing though – if you’re planning to drive, parking in this area is… well, let’s just say you’ll want to ask them about arrangements beforehand because street parking around here is basically mythical.

Here’s what makes this place special beyond just the location: the staff actually knows the neighborhood. Not in that scripted concierge way, but like they genuinely live and work in Krakow. They pointed me toward this little bakery on Grodzka Street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to avoid the tourist crowds at St. Mary’s Basilica, they told me exactly when to show up (early morning, by the way). The 9.5 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy or flashy, it’s just really good at being what it is. The check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually works everywhere in the unit, and honestly, waking up knowing you can grab coffee and be standing in one of Europe’s most beautiful squares before you’re fully awake… that’s pretty hard to beat. Plus, if you’re into that whole authentic local experience thing, you’re staying on a street where actual Cracovians live and work, not just in some hotel bubble.

  Very clean and nicely decorated/furnished. Great location just off the main old town square. Good communication from the host, who was very polite, and helpful. Good quality, comfy beds. Fridge and kettle was a bonus. Good soundproofing given we were on a busy street – no noise at night.
  
  What could be improved: All was great. Only complaint is with booking.com who do not make it clear which of the owner's two apartments you are booking. We thought we’d booked the one with the pool table. The owner was very helpful and let us know we’d booked the other apartment. We didn’t mind as that apartment was also excellent but it was a bit frustrating the website isn’t clear which one you are getting. So definitely check if you are wanting the one with the pool table and hot tub to ensure you are not disappointed.

  Location was amazing, right on the main square. 10 of us stayed and will definitely be looking at returning in the future. Bars and restaurants right on the doorstep, loads to do in the daytime and the nightlife was great!!

  The communication before during and after our stay was super efficient, the location was perfect right in the centre near the main square, the property was simply stunning, immaculately decorated and super clean, I would certainly stay there again .

  A really fantastic place in the heart of Old Town, especially suitable for a group of friends traveling to this beautiful city. The apartment is really thoughtfully decorated and stocked, and the air conditioning is a life saver when the heat rolls into the city. The two sofa beds in the living room are very comfortable and the pool table is an excellent addition providing a fun activity for any group. The jacuzzi and sauna are also fantastic. The BoB Elite Apartment team was also very responsive. There is a brilliant 24/7 luggage storage facility right around the corner, which is very useful if arriving early or if you want to explore the city after check out and before heading to the airport. Overall, the place was incredibly good value for money and made our trip to Krakow incredibly memorable
  
  While it didn't really bother us, being in the heart of Old Town means that it can be a bit loud when the nearby pubs close at 2-3am over the weekend. Obviously this is not something the apartment team can control, but something to keep in mind

  The pool table, sauna and massage bath, and a balcony gives it the little extra. Really nice spot for a boys trip.

  There was a group of 7 and we were all happy beyond words!
  We're still talking about how lucky we were to get that apartment!
  The billiards table was a massive hit with my nephews!
  The rooms were beautiful, and I'd wished I'd stayed later to appreciate the bed, super comfy!
