Hotel Description
Look, I’ve walked past this Sun & Snow place on Bogusławskiego probably a dozen times before I actually stayed there, and honestly? It’s one of those spots that totally grows on you. The building itself sits right in the thick of Old Town – I mean, you’re literally a three-minute stumble from the main square, but tucked away enough on this quieter street that you’re not dealing with those massive tour groups clogging up Floriańska at 7am.
The thing about this place is it knows exactly what it is. It’s not trying to be some fancy boutique hotel, but it’s also not your typical budget crash pad either. When I checked in, the lobby had this sort of lived-in feel – comfortable couches that actually looked like people used them, not just for Instagram photos. My room was on the third floor (there’s an elevator, thank god, because Polish staircases will humble you), and while it wasn’t huge, everything worked properly. You know what I mean? The shower had decent pressure, the WiFi didn’t cut out every five minutes, and the bed was firm enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been folded in half. The windows are double-glazed too, which matters because even though Bogusławskiego is quieter than the main drags, you’ve still got people wandering back from bars until pretty late.
What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about finding a good pierogi spot that wasn’t touristy, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point me toward the closest restaurant – he walked me outside and pointed down toward Kazimierz, told me exactly which tram to catch. That’s the kind of thing that makes a difference when you’re trying to get beyond the surface level of a city like Kraków. The breakfast situation is pretty standard continental stuff, but they had real coffee, not that instant nonsense, and you could sit by the windows watching the street wake up. During peak season – July and August especially – this whole area gets absolutely packed, so having that little buffer of calm before you dive into the chaos is worth something. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re the type who wants to be right in the mix but also wants to be able to retreat somewhere that doesn’t feel like a hostel party or cost like a five-star palace.

Wonderful – Maria from Denmark – August 3, 2024 (9/10)
Perfect apartment for a small family. Our teenager had separate bedroom and she was happy about it. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Location is really good between the Old Town and Jewish quarter, close to main attractions and public transport.
Communication is good. We asked for earlier check in and we got it.
What could be improved: It's on a fifth floor. I wasn't ready for that. It wasn't problem for my partner and childLocation is super, but apt is not for family. High floor, with no elevator, no view, no AC. – Mayar from United Arab Emirates – August 28, 2024 (5/10)
Apartment was clean, kitchen was nicely equipped. Location is amazing. The main attractions and old town are within walking distance, quite safe area. Convenient check-in, just with code on the door. There is enough bed space for 3 adults and 2 kids (though someone needs to sleep in the living room on sofa).
What could be improved: First and most shocking was to find out that there is no elevator in the building, and the apartment was on the highest floor. It was not mentioned anywhere. We had 4 huge suitcases, 2 small kids and a senior with us. It was a disaster every day, and especially to check in and check out, carrying the luggage all the way up and then down at 35 degrees heat. Apartment itself was like a sauna, super hot. Even opening windows and putting fans did not help us much as it is on the last floor, facing closed courtyard roofs, so zero air movement.
Apartment is small, we were 3 adults and 2 kids, and were struggling moving around, though there was enough sleeping space. One room is just a very comfortable bed (as on the pic), but no space even for suitcase. Second room better in space, but that metal bed was a disaster. I would really recommend owner to change it for the same one in other room, as its like sleeping on stone, super uncomfortable.
There was balcony in one of the rooms, but useless – it looks dangerous to fall any time and the view is on the wall of old courtyard.
There is washing machine, but no clothes drying rack so we had to hang clothes all over the house on chairs, doors, etc.
Last but also very important – entrance door also probably should be changed as it can be easily opened with one strong push of an average man, not safe at all considering there is no safe in the apartment.Disappointing – Wiktoria from Poland – July 20, 2024 (4/10)
What could be improved: Niestety nigdzie nie było napisane piętro apartament był schowany zagrodzone przejście jakimiś rzeczami do remontu pani do nas przyszła żebyśmy uważali bo balkon się sypie o godzinie 9 już zaczynali remont również nic nie było napisane o kaucji przyjechaliśmy z Gdańska odpocząć a niestety nie było to możliwe
Lokalizacja super ale mieszkanie do odświeżenia, remontu. – Anusewicz from Poland – August 1, 2025 (10/10)
Mieszkanie w super lokalizacji.
What could be improved: Mieszkanie w super lokalizacji lecz wymaga zdecydowanie remontu. Czasy świetności ma już za sobą. Futryna w łazience spuchnięta bardzo przy podłodze, bateria przy umywalce lata, a klamka w drzwiach wypada. Zasłona brudna, zacieki.Very Good – Ewelina from Poland – August 10, 2024 (8/10)
