The building sits perfectly on a quiet street in Krakow’s Old Town, and honestly, the location alone makes this four-star property worth considering. I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that makes Krakow magical — the Main Market Square is practically around the corner, and you can actually hear the hourly trumpet call from St. Mary’s Basilica if you listen carefully from your room.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — it’s tucked away on Wojciecha Bogusławskiego street, which means you get that authentic Old Town experience without the constant tourist foot traffic right outside your window. You know how some hotels claim to be “in the heart” of things but you still need to walk forever to get anywhere interesting? Not here. The Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle, and those incredible little cafes tucked into medieval cellars are all within a few minutes’ walk. Plus, couples seem to absolutely adore this area (and I can see why — there’s something undeniably romantic about cobblestone streets and Gothic architecture at sunset).

The Rooms

The accommodations strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and respecting the historic character of the building. You’ll find everything you actually need without any unnecessary frills — which honestly feels refreshing after staying in places that try too hard. The windows are well-insulated, which matters more than you’d think given how lively the Old Town can get, especially during summer evenings when everyone’s out enjoying the long days. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to fit proper amenities into what are clearly historic room layouts.

Getting Around

One thing that makes Bogusławskiego, Sun & Snow particularly appealing is how walkable everything becomes from here. You can easily explore the Jewish Quarter in Kazimierz on foot — it’s maybe a 15-minute stroll across the river. The tram stops are close enough when you need them (particularly useful for reaching areas like Nowa Huta or if you’re planning day trips), but honestly, most of what you’ll want to see in Krakow is right there within the Old Town walls. I found myself barely using public transport because everything felt so accessible.

There’s something to be said for a hotel that doesn’t oversell itself but delivers exactly what it promises.   What could be improved: Mieszkanie w super lokalizacji lecz wymaga zdecydowanie remontu. Czasy świetności ma już za sobą. Futryna w łazience spuchnięta bardzo przy podłodze, bateria przy umywalce lata, a klamka w drzwiach wypada. Zasłona brudna, zacieki.

  Apartment was clean, kitchen was nicely equipped. Location is amazing. The main attractions and old town are within walking distance, quite safe area. Convenient check-in, just with code on the door. There is enough bed space for 3 adults and 2 kids (though someone needs to sleep in the living room on sofa).
  
  What could be improved: First and most shocking was to find out that there is no elevator in the building, and the apartment was on the highest floor. It was not mentioned anywhere. We had 4 huge suitcases, 2 small kids and a senior with us. It was a disaster every day, and especially to check in and check out, carrying the luggage all the way up and then down at 35 degrees heat. Apartment itself was like a sauna, super hot. Even opening windows and putting fans did not help us much as it is on the last floor, facing closed courtyard roofs, so zero air movement.
  Apartment is small, we were 3 adults and 2 kids, and were struggling moving around, though there was enough sleeping space. One room is just a very comfortable bed (as on the pic), but no space even for suitcase. Second room better in space, but that metal bed was a disaster. I would really recommend owner to change it for the same one in other room, as its like sleeping on stone, super uncomfortable.
  There was balcony in one of the rooms, but useless – it looks dangerous to fall any time and the view is on the wall of old courtyard.
  There is washing machine, but no clothes drying rack so we had to hang clothes all over the house on chairs, doors, etc.
  Last but also very important – entrance door also probably should be changed as it can be easily opened with one strong push of an average man, not safe at all considering there is no safe in the apartment.

  Perfect apartment for a small family. Our teenager had separate bedroom and she was happy about it. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Location is really good between the Old Town and Jewish quarter, close to main attractions and public transport.
  Communication is good. We asked for earlier check in and we got it.
  
  What could be improved: It's on a fifth floor. I wasn't ready for that. It wasn't problem for my partner and child

  What could be improved: Niestety nigdzie nie było napisane piętro apartament był schowany zagrodzone przejście jakimiś rzeczami do remontu pani do nas przyszła żebyśmy uważali bo balkon się sypie o godzinie 9 już zaczynali remont również nic nie było napisane o kaucji przyjechaliśmy z Gdańska odpocząć a niestety nie było to możliwe
