BRACKA 15 – Main Square Apartments by MINT APARTMENT Overview
You know what struck me first about BRACKA 15? It’s actually *right there* on the main square – I mean, you step out the door and Cloth Hall is literally across the cobblestones. Most places claim they’re “near” the Old Town, but this one sits smack in the medieval heart of Krakow, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re wandering back after dinner and maybe one too many shots of żubrówka.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place rather than some sterile hotel room. It’s got that minimalist thing going on – clean lines, good lighting, actually comfortable furniture (I’m looking at you, every other apartment rental with rock-hard sofas). The kitchen’s small but functional, though let’s be real, with all the pierogi and oscypek waiting outside your door, you’re probably not doing much cooking. What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone was thinking – decent WiFi that actually works, proper blackout curtains (crucial when those church bells start going off at dawn), and windows that open wide enough to let in fresh air without the street noise being overwhelming. Well, mostly – it’s the main square, so there’s always going to be some bustle, especially during summer evenings when the outdoor cafes are in full swing.
The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be fancy – it’s a 3-star place that just does everything right. Check-in was smooth (they send you codes beforehand, very straightforward), the building entrance feels secure, and honestly, the location alone is worth the price. I mean, you’re steps away from St. Mary’s Basilica, you can grab morning coffee at one of those tiny places tucked into the arcades, and when your feet are killing you from walking on cobblestones all day, you’re not facing some long trek back to your room. Plus – and this might sound silly but it matters – you can pop back during the day to drop off shopping bags or recharge your phone without it feeling like a major expedition. The apartment stays cool in summer too, which isn’t always a given in these old buildings. If I’m being picky, the shower could have better water pressure, and street-facing windows mean you’ll hear late-night revelers, but that’s pretty much par for the course when you’re staying right in the action. For what you get – that unbeatable location, clean comfortable space, and the whole experience of actually living in Krakow’s Old Town rather than just visiting it – this place delivers exactly what it promises.

What could be improved: The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs two flights getting up was a struggle due to health issues but the children didn’t mind .Exceptional – Erin from United Kingdom – May 12, 2025 (10/10)

Lovely stay at BRACKA 15. A wonderful location, light and comfy apartment with very helpful host – Amy from United Kingdom – April 14, 2025 (10/10)
The property was beautiful and in such a great location. The beds were comfy and the sofa bed was too – this was a slight worry before booking as sofa beds are notorious for being uncomfortable but there were no complaints for this one (if you like a bed that is slightly harder anyway!). The host was very helpful and always responded to queries and the breakfast boxes got very good reviews!
What could be improved: No complaints whatsoever about the property. The only slight negative point was when going to the restaurant for breakfast on one of the days (you are sent a voucher), the waitress took my phone without asking me to show the manager and didn’t come back with it till about 5 minutes later. Appreciate they need to validate the voucher but just a bit more customer service wouldn’t have gone a miss.Exceptional – Lauren from United Kingdom – January 10, 2025 (10/10)
The location was spot on, just off the main square. The apartment was clean and a great size. Value for money. .

Great apartment in a perfect central location – Caroline from United Kingdom – December 20, 2023 (10/10)
The location was perfect, just off the main square in the old town. All essential facilities were available in the flat. This is great for those who prefer independent travelling and not staying in hotels. Instructions on where to find keys and local amenities were very clear.
What could be improved: Not a problem for me but the flat is up 2 flights of stairs which may be a challenge for some.Clean, comfortable and a fantastic location! – Pamela from Canada – November 30, 2023 (10/10)
