You know what struck me first about Bracka Main Square Apartments? The fact that you’re literally steps away from one of Krakow’s most gorgeous squares, but somehow the place doesn’t feel touristy or overpriced. I mean, when I walked out the front door, I was maybe thirty seconds from all that medieval architecture and those flower vendors – but inside, it actually felt like a real apartment where real people live.

The thing about these apartments is they’re honest about what they are. It’s a solid 3-star place that just happens to sit in an absolutely killer location. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but you’ve got everything you need including a little kitchenette that’s actually useful if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up. The Wi-Fi works well (I was doing video calls without issues), and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than I expected. What really won me over was how quiet it stays at night despite being right in the heart of everything. I guess the old building walls are thicker than they look, because I barely heard the late-night chatter from the square below.

The staff deserves a mention too – they’re genuinely helpful without being overly formal. When I arrived, the guy at reception actually drew me a little map showing which tram stops to use and where to find the best milk bars nearby. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to eat like a local instead of falling into tourist traps. The 8.8 rating makes perfect sense to me because while this isn’t luxury accommodation, it delivers exactly what it promises and then some. You’re paying for location and comfort, not marble bathrooms or a concierge – and that’s perfectly fine because you’ll spend most of your time exploring the city anyway. Plus, having that kitchenette means you can actually save some money on meals, which is smart since Krakow has so many other things worth spending your cash on.

  The location was perfect. The bed was comfortable and a good size room. The luggage lockers were very handy. Fab idea.

  Perfect location, right at the main square.
  The rooms were clean and the bathroom was not smelly. We liked our stay here.
  Lots of stairs there but the building was really really nice. Nice christmas decoration in the hallways.
  The windows are old though and the rooms was loosing heat through them.
  We had some really loud neighbours at 3 am. but other than that everything was perfect.

  The hallway to the apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The apartment again was clean and very comfortable. The area for cooking was also clean and well kept and had the facilities you needed. We were in such a good central location next to bars, restaurants and the main square.

  The property was in an excellent location within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the main square. The property was secure with a key code to get into the building as well as a key safe for your room key if you didn’t want to carry it around with you during the day. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the host was very friendly and helpful! Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Krakow.
