Okay, so first things first – don’t let that ridiculously long name throw you off. This place is actually a gem tucked right into the heart of Krakow’s Old Town, and I mean *right* in it. You’re literally on Świętej Katarzyny street, which honestly couldn’t be more perfect if you tried. I stayed here last spring and kept pinching myself because you can walk to Wawel Castle in about three minutes, and the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) is just across the way.

What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being so central – I mean, you’re surrounded by history but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that hits the main square. The apartment itself feels genuinely new, like someone actually cared about making it nice rather than just slapping some IKEA furniture together and calling it done. The windows are proper double-glazed (trust me, this matters in Polish winters), and there’s this lovely morning light that comes through around 8 AM. The kitchen’s small but functional – I made coffee there every morning while looking out at these gorgeous old buildings. You know what surprised me most? The shower pressure. Sounds silly, but after traveling through Eastern Europe for weeks, finding a place with decent water pressure felt like winning the lottery.

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re actually walking around – you’re positioned perfectly between everything without being stuck in the thick of it. Plac Nowy with all those amazing food stalls is maybe a seven-minute walk, and if you head the other direction, you hit Planty Park where locals actually jog and walk their dogs. The building itself is one of those beautifully restored townhouses, so you get that old Krakow charm without the creaky floors and dodgy plumbing that usually comes with it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “meet me at the corner with the red umbrella” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals. Actually, the whole experience felt more like staying at a boutique hotel than a typical Airbnb situation. I’d definitely book this again, especially since finding parking nearby isn’t the nightmare I expected (there’s a spot about two blocks away if you’re driving). Just don’t expect a huge space – it’s cozy rather than sprawling, but honestly, when you’re this close to everything good in Krakow, who’s spending time indoors anyway?

  Beautiful stylish apartment, great location, everywhere was close. There were restaurants, bars and a tram in close proximity to the apartment. Excellent communication.
  
  What could be improved: A little noisier because of the tram. There is no elevator in the house, the apartment is on the 3rd floor, you have to take that into account.

  Apartament przestronny, czysty, dobrze wyposażony, niczego nie brakowało. Idealna lokalizacja, wszędzie było blisko. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, polecił świetne restauracje, doradził w kwestii parkingu 🙂
