There’s a proper kitchenette – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – so you can actually make coffee that doesn’t taste like sadness, or grab groceries from the Żabka down the street and save some złoty on meals. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve stayed in older Krakow buildings, you’ll appreciate that detail. What I really liked was how they’ve managed the soundproofing – even though you’re central, you’re not dealing with the tram noise or late-night revelry that hits some of the Old Town places. The WiFi actually works too, which seems basic but you’d be amazed how many places mess this up.

Here’s the thing about the location that the address doesn’t tell you – you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but far enough from Floriańska Street that you’re not paying tourist-trap prices for everything. There’s this little bakery around the corner that locals actually use, and you can hit Planty Park for morning runs without dealing with crowds. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers exactly what it promises without the usual apartment rental headaches. Check-in was smooth, the place was clean, and honestly, for the price point in Krakow these days, you’re getting solid value. I’d definitely book here again, especially if I was staying more than a couple nights and wanted that home-base feeling rather than the hotel bubble experience.
