Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of apartments in Krakow over the years, and this one by Rent like home honestly surprised me. You know how sometimes places sound too good to be true with those perfect photos? Well, this actually lived up to the hype – and that 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there.

The apartment itself is in the heart of Centrum, which means you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters. I mean everything – Rynek Główny is probably a five-minute stroll, maybe less if you walk fast. The balcony is what really sold me though. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for morning coffee and people-watching, and you get these glimpses of the old city that make you feel like you’re actually living in Krakow, not just visiting. The apartment feels genuinely Polish but updated – you know, original hardwood floors that creak just slightly when you walk (in a charming way, not annoying), but with modern touches like really good WiFi and a kitchen that’s actually functional. I’ve been burned before by European apartment kitchens that are basically decorative, but this one has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Sukiennice area and cook something simple.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even being so central. The windows are solid – probably double-glazed – because Krakow can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when the bachelor parties roll through. The check-in was smooth too, though I should mention the building is old-school European, so if you’ve got massive suitcases, just be prepared for some narrow staircases. It’s part of the charm, honestly. The neighborhood around here is perfect for morning runs if you’re into that – you can jog toward Planty Park and do the whole loop around the old town, or head toward the Wisła if you want something longer. There’s also this little bakery about two blocks away that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and their obwarzanek krakowski is ridiculously good. The whole area comes alive around 7 AM with people heading to work, but it’s never overwhelming – just nice city energy. I stayed here during shoulder season, so I can’t speak to summer crowds, but spring in Krakow from this apartment was pretty much perfect. You’re close enough to everything to walk, far enough from the main square to avoid the worst of the tourist chaos, and the balcony gives you this little private space to decompress after walking around all day. For a 4-star place, it punches above its weight – feels more boutique hotel than typical rental apartment.

  Розташування прекрасне, в будинку жабка, поруч інші магазини, пекарня, кав'ярня, аптеки, все що потрібно в 5 хвилинах ходьби. З вікна видно курган, гарно. Квартира простора, багато посуду, є все для приготування їжі. Квартира тепла, в ванній і коридорі тепла підлога, з дитиною те що треба!
