The apartment itself has that lived-in character that you either love or you don’t. The floorboards creak in that satisfying old-building way, and there’s enough rustic charm to make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual grandmother’s place (in the best possible way). The windows look out onto the kind of cobblestone courtyard where you’ll hear church bells drifting over in the morning – which, fair warning, starts pretty early, but it’s the kind of sound that makes you remember you’re in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The kitchen’s small but functional if you’re planning to grab groceries from the little shops nearby, though honestly, with all the pierogi places within walking distance, why would you cook?

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this spot – you can walk to Wawel Castle in about ten minutes without dealing with the main tourist crush, and you’re close enough to Planty Park that evening strolls become this automatic thing you just do. Plus, and this matters more than you’d think, the building’s entrance is discrete enough that you’re not constantly running into tour groups trying to figure out where they are. Parking’s going to be tricky if you’ve got a car (Old Town problems, you know?), but the tram connections are solid, and honestly, everything you want to see is walkable anyway. The host was straightforward about check-in – no drama, just clear instructions and quick responses when I had questions about the heating situation. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the bathroom’s compact in that European way, but there’s something genuinely cozy about settling in here after a day of sightseeing. It feels like staying in Krakow rather than just visiting it, if that makes sense.

  Great location and very communicative host. The host is very nice. Accommodation looked just like the picture and location wise it’s very nice. Situated in a quiet block just down the street from the city centre.
  
  What could be improved: The only complaints I have are pointed out already and that’s the lack of an elevator and no AC but I know AC isn’t very common everywhere.
