Charming studio Center of Krakow Overview

You know what really surprised me about this little studio? It’s tucked right into the heart of Krakow’s Old Town, and I mean *right* in there – you can practically roll out of bed and grab a zapiekanka from the street vendors in Kazimierz. The moment I walked in, honestly, it felt way more spacious than I expected from a “studio.” Sure, it’s cozy, but there’s something about the way they’ve arranged everything that makes it work. The morning light comes streaming through these tall windows (classic Krakow architecture, you’ll notice it everywhere once you start looking), and you can hear the gentle bustle of locals heading to work mixed with the occasional clip-clop of horse carriages taking tourists around the square.

What I really appreciated – and this might sound small, but trust me on this – is how quiet it gets at night despite being so central. I was worried about noise, especially during summer when the Old Town can get pretty lively, but the studio faces away from the main tourist thoroughfares. You get all the convenience of being steps from Wawel Castle and St. Mary’s Basilica without the 2 AM singing groups stumbling back from the pubs. The setup is pretty clever too; they’ve managed to create distinct spaces even in a studio layout, so it doesn’t feel like you’re living in one big room. The kitchenette is actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted pierogi one evening – don’t ask how that went), and the bathroom has decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in these historic buildings.

I’ll be straight with you though – if you’re the type who needs tons of storage space or wants to spread out five suitcases, this might feel tight. But for a couple or solo traveler who wants to actually experience Krakow rather than hang out in their room all day? It’s pretty perfect. The location means you’re walking to everything – and I mean everything. Cloth Hall is maybe three minutes away, you can pop over to the Jewish Quarter for dinner without thinking twice, and when you inevitably eat too much at one of those underground restaurants near the square, you can stumble home without worrying about taxis or trams. Plus, and this is something you only realize after staying in a few places around here, you’re positioned perfectly to duck down those little side streets locals use to avoid the tourist crowds. That 9.0 rating isn’t just because it’s pretty – it’s because someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need when they’re exploring a city like this.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Krakow at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near Market Square.

    Everything was great.
It is equipped with everything you need for a short stay.
Big mokka coffee maker was much appreciated.
The instructions to reach the apartment were well detailed.
In a few minutes by foot there is a tram stop. But if you are a walking type of person, in 20-30 minutes you can reach the old town by foot.
Our apartment was decorated a little bit different from the photos shown on Booking and had a proper bed (not a couch).
