That 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers – you feel it the moment you walk through the doors. There’s something about the way they’ve done the whole thing that just works, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing is, staying in Kazimierz puts you right in the thick of things without feeling like you’re camping out in Times Square, if you know what I mean. You’re actually in the old Jewish quarter here, so you’ve got all these incredible restaurants and bars literally around the corner – I’m talking about places where locals eat, not tourist traps. The whole area has this amazing energy, especially in the evenings when people spill out onto the cobblestone streets. You’ll hear everything from jazz drifting out of basement clubs to the gentle hum of conversation from the outdoor terraces. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can wander for hours and keep discovering little courtyards and galleries tucked away behind unassuming doorways.

What really got me about City Lights was how they’ve nailed all the small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The rooms are surprisingly quiet – I mean, you’re in a pretty lively area but somehow the street noise just doesn’t penetrate. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly complicated key card nonsense some places throw at you. And honestly, the beds are fantastic – I slept better there than I have in some supposedly fancier hotels. The bathrooms are compact but smartly designed, with decent water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think after a day of walking around Krakow’s old town).

I loved that you could grab coffee in the morning and actually sit somewhere comfortable to plan your day, rather than hovering awkwardly in some sterile lobby. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess? Like they’re confident enough in what they’re offering that they don’t need to oversell it. You’re a five-minute walk from Plac Nowy where the locals grab zapiekanka (basically Polish street food heaven), and maybe ten minutes from the main square if you’re feeling ambitious. But honestly, you might find yourself spending more time just exploring Kazimierz itself – there’s something new around every corner, whether it’s a tiny bookshop, a vintage clothing store, or just a beautiful old synagogue you hadn’t noticed before.

  Apartman has excellent location, so we could walk everywhere . (Car was parked in free and locked garage). Lots od turist attractions, bars and restaurants. Very enjoyable.

  Cozy and warm with heater turned on. Clean, lovely bed and bedding, functional kitchen with lots of useful items (except the manky coffee machine) Easy self access with lots of key code instructions. Great place if you have a car, underground parking provided. Good location, food trucks right outside front gate, not a foodhall, just fast food vans. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and grocery stores a few metres away.
