The apartment itself has this interesting mix of modern comfort and subtle nods to the whole Inca theme – I mean, they could have gone completely cheesy with it, but they didn’t. The space feels genuinely comfortable, with good lighting and a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka down the street. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Lubelska isn’t a major thoroughfare, so you can sleep with the windows cracked open in summer without feeling like you’re camping next to a highway. The building’s entry is secure but not intimidating, and honestly, the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering desk clerks or rigid timing restrictions.

Here’s the thing about this part of Krakow that makes this place work so well: you’re in a real neighborhood. There’s a fantastic milk bar (bar mleczny) about three blocks away where you can get authentic Polish comfort food for practically nothing, and the tram connections are solid if you want to explore beyond the tourist center. I stayed here in early spring when the weather was still unpredictable, and having that extra space to spread out made all the difference. Plus, the 8.5 rating isn’t just inflated booking site nonsense – it’s earned through those small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower has proper water pressure, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, and there’s enough storage space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next Krakow trip before you’ve even checked out.

  It is in a very good neighborhood and it was clean. Had everything you needed, including a washing machine, full kitchen equipment and even a dishwasher. Was easy to get to the Old town and every spot of interest on foot or with public transport.
