Look, I’ll be straight with you – when I first saw the address on Stanisława Klimeckiego, I honestly had no idea what to expect. Podgórze isn’t exactly the neighborhood tourists usually end up in, but that actually turned out to be the best part about City of the Kings – Onyks Apartment. You’re in this proper residential area where real Krakovians live, which means you get to experience the city without feeling like you’re stuck in some tourist bubble.

The apartment itself is on the first floor (well, what Americans would call the second floor), and I mean, it’s clear why it earned those 4 stars. The space feels genuinely modern without being sterile – you know that tricky balance between looking good on Instagram and actually being comfortable to live in for a few days? They nailed it. The kitchen has everything you’d actually need, not just the bare minimum that some places throw in as an afterthought. What really surprised me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re still connected to the city. The building’s solid, none of that paper-thin wall nonsense where you hear your neighbor’s entire phone conversation.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: getting into the city center is actually pretty straightforward once you figure out the tram system, but give yourself an extra 15 minutes the first time because the stops aren’t always clearly marked. The neighborhood has this great morning energy – there’s a small market nearby where locals grab their groceries, and honestly, watching the daily routine unfold from your window is half the charm. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it can be in the Old Town, which is huge if you’re driving. The 8.8 rating makes total sense when you add everything up – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but it delivers on what it promises without any weird surprises. You’ll probably end up staying in longer than planned just because it feels like having your own little corner of Krakow rather than being another tourist passing through.

  Nice apartment. Well equipped and fully furnitured. Good kitchen.
  
  What could be improved: It was the quest to find it. The keybox was in the super secret place (wardrobe), so if you don't like quests and hide and seek you will definitely lost… For further guest provide direct information about block, garage access doors and how to get there for the first time. I would suggest to write for guest with auto, that the enterance is at the opposite side of the building, and the garage gate nr.3 behind (kletka or block with letter…) so it could be simple to find it. Otherwise it's great apartment. 🙏

  Mieszkanie małe, ale fajnie, bardzo dobrze i wygodnie wyposażone. Ciężko zjeść 3 osobowej rodzinie przy barku ale to drobiazg. Bardzo wygodne łóżko, przestronna łazienka. Balkon, garaż super sprawa. Dość cicha, okolica , bezpiecznie.. Nowoczesny budynek z windą. Bliskość piekarni 2,3min,, biedrona 10min Max, żabka 10min . Na starówkę 30min spacerkiem , Wawel 40 min.
  Dla malej rodzinki czy pary liga. Proszę zamawiac bez obaw.

  Καλά εξοπλισμένο διαμέρισμα σε καινούργιο συγκρότημα κατοικιών με κλειστό πάρκινγκ, μοντέρνα έπιπλα, 2 τηλεοράσεις, φούρνο μικροκυμάτων, πλυντήριο, πιστολάκι μαλλιών και καφετιέρα, 10 λεπτά από το κέντρο της Κρακοβίας με το αυτοκίνητο.
  
  What could be improved: Έκαναν τεχνικές εργασίες στον από πάνω όροφο, ευτυχώς σε φυσιολογικές ώρες. Δεν είχε a/c αλλά παρείχε ανεμιστήρα.

  What could be improved: Poduszki są mega niskie, telewizor się sam włączał w nocy około ~1. Możliwe że jakiś śmieszek wcześniej ustawił jakiś dziwny tryb. Rozwiązaniem było wyjęcie wtyczki z gniazdka.
