Hotel Description

You know what really gets me about City Point Apartment? It’s tucked right there on Augustiańska Street, which honestly most tourists walk past without even noticing – but that’s exactly why it works so well. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter, but somehow you avoid all the chaos that comes with staying right on the main drag where those tour groups cluster around the synagogues.

The thing is, this place feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying at a hotel. The building itself has that solid, pre-war character – thick walls that actually keep the street noise out (trust me, this matters when the bars on nearby Szeroka Street get going). What I love is how they’ve managed to keep the original architectural details while making everything feel genuinely comfortable, not like you’re staying in a museum. The apartments are spacious in a way that’s rare for European city centers – you can actually unpack your stuff and spread out a bit. And honestly, after spending days walking around Krakow’s cobblestones, having a proper living area where you can just collapse with a bottle of Żywiec from the corner shop… that’s worth something.

Here’s what really sold me though – step outside and you’re thirty seconds from some of the best milk bars and pierogi joints in the city, but you’re also close enough to walk to the Main Square without dealing with trams or taxis. The location is sort of perfect for people who want to experience the real Kazimierz culture – I’m talking about the galleries tucked into courtyards, the little bookshops, the cafes where locals actually hang out – rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving (which, let’s be real, in Krakow’s old town is basically like finding treasure). The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, not just the standard tourist recommendations. When I asked about finding good traditional Polish breakfast, they sent me to this tiny place two blocks away that I never would have discovered otherwise. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you actually stay there – it’s those little details that add up, like having a washing machine that actually works properly, or windows that open just right for cross-ventilation during those warm summer evenings. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, which somehow makes it feel more authentic to the whole Krakow experience.

  • Modern convenient apartment – Pieter from United Kingdom – August 1, 2025 (9/10)

    Modern, clean apartment
Free underground parking ( for small cars)

What could be improved: No parking garage remote to be found in apartment, despite instructions stating there would be a remote.
Security guard on duty at reception had to open the garage door.

Some cupboard doors in kitchen and bathroom had broken hinges.

  • Central cozy apartment – Federica from Italy – August 22, 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is located in a recently renovated building with a 24h concierge service. Large spaces, it was equipped with every comfort. Very close to Wawel castle (10 minutes walking), and 2 mins walking from the tram stop. We arrived by car and it was very easy to reach the private parking. The only pity was the very hot weather and no air conditioning inside, but the apartment was equipped with 2 fans, which helped us a lot.
    Very much recommend!

  • Great base to explore Krakow! – Caroline from Netherlands – July 20, 2024 (9/10)

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location in Kazimierz, perfect for our stay in Krakow. The apartment building is very modern, and we really appreciated the free parking provided in the building. The room was large and very clean, with a nice rain shower. There were two fans provided which we were super happy with in the summer heat! The location was excellent, walking distance to the city center, but also so many great restaurants and places to explore in our neighborhood! We loved staying in this apartment and would definitely stay again here when in Krakow.

What could be improved: Overall we had an excellent stay! When we first arrived we had some technical issues with the wifi but we had quick contact with owner and it was fixed very soon after we arrived. The owner is very fast with an queries and we really appreciated that!
