City Point Apartment Old Jewish Quarter Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to City Point Apartment Old Jewish Quarter, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Krakow’s historic core. The building sits right on ul. Augustiańska, and I mean right in the thick of things — you’re literally steps from some of the city’s most atmospheric streets. What struck me first was how this four-star property manages to feel both authentically old-world and refreshingly modern. The entrance has that understated elegance that suggests the owners actually care about details rather than just checking boxes.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable — and the 9.9 location score from couples tells you everything you need to know. You’re in the Old Jewish Quarter, which means Kazimierz is your playground, but you’re also close enough to walk to the Main Market Square without breaking a sweat. I love that you can grab morning coffee at one of the local spots on Szeroka Street, then wander over to Wawel Castle in the afternoon. The neighborhood has this wonderful mix of synagogues, trendy restaurants, and quiet residential streets that most tourists never discover.

The Apartment Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments that give you space to actually live a bit during your stay. The kitchens are well-equipped (I actually used mine, which says something), and the living areas feel thoughtfully designed rather than just furnished. What I appreciated most was the attention to comfort — good lighting, decent Wi-Fi, and windows that actually open properly. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, though not enormous. You get the sense that someone who travels frequently designed these spaces.

Practical Perks

Here’s something you don’t find everywhere in Krakow’s Old Town — free private parking right on site. If you’re driving, this is honestly a game-changer because parking in this area can be a nightmare otherwise. The staff is genuinely helpful without being overbearing, and they seem to know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations. Check-in was smooth, and they’re flexible about timing if you communicate ahead. Small things, but they add up when you’re trying to settle into a new city.

Why Guests Love It

What makes City Point Apartment Old Jewish Quarter work so well is that perfect balance between location and livability. You’re staying in one of Europe’s most beautiful historic districts, but you’re not sacrificing comfort or space to do it. The apartment setup means you can have breakfast at your own pace, store groceries if you want, and generally feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local. Couples especially seem to love having their own little corner of Krakow to retreat to after days of exploring — and with that 9.9 location rating, you really can explore everything on foot.

  • Modern convenient apartment – Pieter from United Kingdom – August 1, 2025 (9/10)

    Modern, clean apartment
Free underground parking ( for small cars)

What could be improved: No parking garage remote to be found in apartment, despite instructions stating there would be a remote.
Security guard on duty at reception had to open the garage door.

Some cupboard doors in kitchen and bathroom had broken hinges.

  • Central cozy apartment – Federica from Italy – August 22, 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is located in a recently renovated building with a 24h concierge service. Large spaces, it was equipped with every comfort. Very close to Wawel castle (10 minutes walking), and 2 mins walking from the tram stop. We arrived by car and it was very easy to reach the private parking. The only pity was the very hot weather and no air conditioning inside, but the apartment was equipped with 2 fans, which helped us a lot.
    Very much recommend!

  • Great base to explore Krakow! – Caroline from Netherlands – July 20, 2024 (9/10)

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location in Kazimierz, perfect for our stay in Krakow. The apartment building is very modern, and we really appreciated the free parking provided in the building. The room was large and very clean, with a nice rain shower. There were two fans provided which we were super happy with in the summer heat! The location was excellent, walking distance to the city center, but also so many great restaurants and places to explore in our neighborhood! We loved staying in this apartment and would definitely stay again here when in Krakow.

What could be improved: Overall we had an excellent stay! When we first arrived we had some technical issues with the wifi but we had quick contact with owner and it was fixed very soon after we arrived. The owner is very fast with an queries and we really appreciated that!
