You know what caught me off guard about City Zen? The name actually makes sense once you’re there. I mean, I rolled my eyes a bit when I first saw it – another “zen” branded place, right? – but honestly, there’s something genuinely calming about this spot tucked away on Mariana Langiewicza street. It’s one of those quiet Old Town addresses that feels completely removed from the tourist chaos, even though you’re literally a stone’s throw from all the action.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious for Krakow standards, and I really appreciated how they’ve managed to keep that historic character without making you feel like you’re staying in a museum. The windows are these gorgeous tall ones that let in so much light during the day – you can actually hear the gentle hum of trams in the distance, which sounds annoying but is oddly soothing once you get used to it. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just some sad mini-fridge situation, which matters when you want to grab fresh bread from one of the local bakeries and actually do something with it. Speaking of local spots, there’s this fantastic little coffee place called Karma Coffee just around the corner that most tourists never find – the owner, Piotr, makes these incredible cardamom lattes that’ll ruin you for chain coffee forever.

What really sold me on this place though is that “direct route to main station” thing they mention – it’s not just marketing fluff. You can literally walk to Krakow Główny in about twelve minutes, maybe fifteen if you’re dragging luggage, and it’s actually a pleasant walk through some of the prettier residential streets. No need to figure out tram schedules or deal with taxi drivers who may or may not speak English. I stayed here during that busy summer period in July, and while the main square was absolutely packed with tour groups, this little neighborhood stayed refreshingly calm. The building itself has thick walls (thank god), so even when there were some late-night revelers stumbling home, it never really bothered me. Check-in was smooth – they use one of those keypad systems, so no awkward waiting around for someone to show up with keys. The whole experience just felt… I don’t know, grown-up? Like staying at a friend’s really nice apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually living in Krakow for a few days rather than just visiting it, this place gets it right.

  We had a wonderful stay at these apartments! The price matched our expectations, and the apartment itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to find bathing essentials provided. The bed was very comfortable, and the living room was cozy and inviting as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
  
  The parking area is a bit small, but we still managed to find a spot without too much trouble. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly – they even assisted us around 9:30 PM, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended!

  Lokalizacja kiepska,ale jak ma się samochòd to nie stanowi problemu.Taksòwką można dojechać tez wszedzie gdzie chcesz nie za miliony.
  Dużym plusem jest klimatyzacja,jednak w upalne dni bardzo przydatna.
  No i chyba największym plusem,ktòrego nie można pominąć jest wygodne łòżko co w moim przypadku jest wisienką na "torcie".
  Z pewnością przy następnej wizycie w Krakowie wròcę do tego mieszkanka.

  Udało nam się zarezerwować ten apartament jako jedni z pierwszych.
  Wszystkie pokoje w bardzo dobrym stanie i jakości. Łazienka z dużym prysznicem, sypialnia bardzo wygodne łóżko. Robi wrażenie odległość od Dworca Głównego gdzie można spokojnie przejść na nogach (należy pamiętać żeby wysiadać z pociągu iść w innych kierunku niż pozostali to znacznie skraca drogę) Właściciele dają również do dyspozycji ekspres i kawę co bardzo się przydaje po długiej podróży 🙂
