Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from CityNest Apartments when I first walked up to the building on Warszawska – the street’s pretty unassuming, tucked into that maze of cobblestone alleys that makes up Old Town Krakow. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to announce themselves. The entrance is actually quite understated, which I sort of appreciated after dealing with some of the flashier hotels that feel more like lobbies than actual places to stay.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance that authentic Krakow apartment feel with genuinely modern comfort. I mean, you’re literally living in Old Town – you can hear the clip-clop of horse carriages in the morning (which is charming until about 6 AM, but honestly, that’s just part of the Krakow experience). The apartments themselves feel like someone’s well-designed home rather than a sterile hotel room, with those high ceilings and original details you’d expect in a building this old, but updated kitchens that actually work. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters more than people admit when they’re traveling.

Location-wise, you’re about a three-minute walk to the main square – close enough that you can pop back easily if you forgot something, but far enough from Floriańska Street that you won’t be dealing with the worst of the tourist crowds right outside your window. There’s a little convenience store practically next door (the kind where the owner knows everyone’s business), and if you’re into that morning coffee ritual, there’s this tiny place called Karma Coffee just around the corner that locals actually go to. Parking’s tricky, but that’s true anywhere in Old Town – they’ll give you the rundown on where to find street spots, though honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re settled in. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be everything to everyone – it just does the apartment hotel thing really well, with staff who seem to genuinely care about whether you can figure out how to work the washing machine or find a decent pierogi place that’s not a tourist trap.

Hotel in Krakow booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural festivals and medieval celebrations.

  This apartment is a real gem! Perfectly located — just a short walk to the city center and the train station — yet wonderfully peaceful and quiet. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, whether you’re here for a few days or much longer. The charming loft-style design gives it a cozy and unique character. The Host is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the very first moment of booking. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to both couples and solo travelers — you’ll love it!

  I loved this place – best I have stayed at in all Europe! Very cool apartment that is perfectly located. 3 minute walk from the train station and 4 minute walk from beautiful Planty Park. Lovely hot shower, cooking facilities, and it has practical things like scissors and a big, sharp knife << these are rarities in the majority of accommodations!! Very comfy bed. Spectacularly clean, with nice touches like toiletries and chocolates. It truly did feel like a home away from home 🙂 Host Michael is easily contactable and answers any questions quickly. Wifi works great. And very, very quiet 🙂

  A lovely clean apartment at a great location! The host Michał was wonderful and very accommodating. Blackout curtains and a fan were provided, which helped dealing with the warm days. 🙂
