What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re still in the city center. I’m usually a light sleeper, but I slept like a rock here – well, except for that one night when someone’s shower was making this weird whistling sound, but honestly that’s just old building character.

The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – nothing fancy, but everything works and someone clearly put effort into making the space feel welcoming rather than just functional. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be amazed how many places mess this basic thing up), and there’s decent water pressure in the shower. I appreciated the little touches too – like having a proper mirror with good lighting, and enough outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using the lamp. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not about luxury; it’s about getting the fundamentals right and having people who genuinely care about your stay. I ended up extending my visit by two nights, partly because I loved the neighborhood but mostly because checking out felt like leaving friends behind. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy marble bathrooms, keep looking. But if you want a place that feels like home with people who’ll point you toward the best pierogi in town – yeah, definitely book here.

  Everything is excellent: super location, good conditions, and a nice apartment. Great for sightseeing (close to the city center) but perfect for any ICE conference because it's within walking distance from the conference center. Żabka is downstairs, so a fresh breakfast is possible 😉 Faith is a great host, he was only SMS away in case I had any questions.
