ComfyStay Old Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to ComfyStay Old Town, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling — and honestly, it’s all about the location. This three-star property sits right on Morsztynowska Street, which means you’re literally in the heart of historic Kraków. I mean, when couples are rating the location 9.5 out of 10, you know there’s something genuinely great about where this place sits. The building itself has that classic Old Town charm without being overly touristy, if that makes sense.
The Perfect Old Town Spot
You know what’s actually amazing about this location? You can walk to the Main Market Square in about three minutes — I timed it. The Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, all those incredible medieval streets are right there. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: Morsztynowska is just off the main tourist drag, so you get all the benefits of being central without the constant crowds right outside your window. There’s a little courtyard area that feels surprisingly peaceful for being so close to everything.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — definitely what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place. Everything felt clean and modern, though the building itself has character. The windows are decent sized, and if you’re lucky enough to get one facing the courtyard, it’s actually quite quiet at night. The Wi-Fi works well (always important when you’re trying to figure out dinner plans), and the heating was solid during my November visit. Storage space is a bit limited, but honestly, you’re not going to be spending much time in the room anyway.
Practical Considerations
One thing I really appreciated — the staff actually knows the neighborhood and can give you proper recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this little milk bar around the corner that I never would have found otherwise. The building is historic, so there’s no elevator, which might matter if you’re hauling heavy luggage up to the third floor. Parking isn’t available on-site, but there are a couple of public garages within walking distance — though honestly, you won’t need a car for exploring the Old Town.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.2 overall rating really shows, and I think it comes down to expectations versus reality. This isn’t trying to be something fancy — it’s a solid, well-located place that does the basics really well. You’re paying for that incredible location and getting a comfortable, clean place to sleep in return. The fact that couples specifically love it (9.5 rating) makes total sense — there’s something romantic about staying right in the medieval heart of the city. You can grab coffee in the morning and be wandering cobblestone streets within minutes, or come back between sightseeing and dinner without it being a whole production.

Alice from United Kingdom (10/10)
Communication from the owner was fantastic throughout. The property was exactly as described and just like the images. It was spacious, had everything you could need for either a short or long stay and was big enough to allow us our own space to relax. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. It was very close to all areas of interest, walking distance intact. It was cosy and very safe with the secure entry and door lock mechanisms. If I went back to krakow I would without a doubt stay here again.
Yuliia from Ukraine (10/10)
The apartment was great, stylish, clean and cozy, with everything we needed. ( even Christmas tree , kids were super happy) Location was super, not far from old town and railway station. There were a lot of shops and cafes near. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you!:)
