Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Cracow Apartaments,” I was expecting some cookie-cutter setup that’s all flash and no substance. But you know what? This place completely surprised me, and that 9.3 rating actually makes sense once you spend a night or two there.
The thing about these apartments is they’ve got that sweet spot figured out where you feel like you’re living in Krakow instead of just visiting it. I mean, you’re not dealing with tiny hotel rooms where you can barely open your suitcase – these are proper apartments where you can actually spread out and breathe. The kitchens aren’t just for show either (I’m looking at you, other “aparthotels” with those sad mini-fridges). You can hit up the local markets and cook something decent, which honestly saved me a fortune during my week there. Plus there’s something really satisfying about making your morning coffee while watching Krakow wake up outside your window.
What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about the little things. Check-in was smooth – no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation” – and they had these local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. The woman at reception told me about this bakery that’s tucked away in a courtyard, and it ended up being one of those perfect discoveries you stumble across when someone who knows the city points you in the right direction. The apartments themselves are well-maintained without being sterile, if that makes sense. Everything works (the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has actual water pressure), but it still feels lived-in and comfortable rather than like you’re staying in a showroom.
I stayed during shoulder season, so I can’t speak to how crazy it gets in summer, but the neighborhood had this nice rhythm where mornings were quiet enough to sleep in if you wanted, then it came alive during the day without being overwhelming. Parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d feared – they’ve got options worked out, though you’ll want to ask about it when you book rather than just hoping for the best. The only thing that caught me off guard was how quickly these apartments book up once word gets around. I tried to extend my stay by a couple days and they were completely full, which was annoying at the time but honestly just confirms that other people figured out what I did – this place delivers on what it promises without the usual travel accommodation headaches. For a three-star setup, it punches way above its weight.

The room is very clean and comfortable. It is very near Vistula River and Wawel castle. We have a nice view from our window. It is a bus away from old town, airport and train station. Gabriella is a very detailed, kind, and went beyond extra miles to cater our needs, she is exceptional. She even have baby bottled water ☺️

The owner Gabriela was super kind and helpful, she allowed us to leave our luggage in the building after check-out for almost a whole day. The building is in a perfect location to visit the center and also the Jewish quarter, our apartment had a wonderful view of the city castle.
