Cracow Apartaments Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Cracow Apartaments feels like discovering a well-kept secret in one of Krakow’s most coveted neighborhoods. This three-star property sits quietly on Zygmunta Krasińskiego street in Zwierzyniec, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. You’re not dealing with tourist crowds here, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The neighborhood strikes a perfect balance between peaceful residential charm and convenient access to major attractions. The building itself showcases traditional Polish architecture with modern renovations that preserve the authentic character while providing contemporary comfort.
The Zwierzyniec Advantage
Here’s what makes this spot special — Zwierzyniec is where locals actually want to live, which tells you something important about the area. You’ll find yourself walking tree-lined streets that feel more residential than touristy, but the Old Town is just a pleasant stroll away. The area has this authentic Polish neighborhood vibe that you miss when you’re staying right in the historic center. Couples particularly appreciate the location, with ratings reflecting genuine satisfaction about the peaceful yet accessible setting. The district offers numerous parks, traditional markets, and family-owned shops that give you a real taste of everyday Krakow life.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is that you’re getting an actual apartment rather than just a hotel room. There’s something refreshing about having your own space with a proper kitchen setup — especially when you want to grab some local groceries and make coffee the way you like it. The apartments feel lived-in rather than sterile, which works perfectly if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. This setup allows you to spread out your belongings and settle in comfortably without feeling cramped or temporary. Each unit features separate living areas, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful amenities that make extended stays particularly enjoyable.
Local Insights
The property’s location score reflects genuine advantages when you’re walking around the neighborhood. You’re close enough to Wawel Castle that you can see it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups at dawn. The Vistula River is right there for morning walks, and some of the best cafes in Krakow are tucked away in this neighborhood. There’s this little restaurant called Szara Gęś nearby that locals frequent — the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying in the main tourist zone. The area also provides easy access to public transportation, making day trips to other parts of the city incredibly straightforward.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.3 rating, people are clearly onto something here. I think it comes down to getting more space and authenticity for your money while still being perfectly positioned to explore the city. The apartment setup means you can actually unpack and settle in, which changes the whole travel experience — especially for longer stays. Parking in this area is manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Krakow will appreciate. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. The combination of residential comfort and tourist accessibility creates an ideal base for experiencing Krakow like a local while maintaining easy access to all major attractions.

The room is very clean and comfortable. It is very near Vistula River and Wawel castle. We have a nice view from our window. It is a bus away from old town, airport and train station. Gabriella is a very detailed, kind, and went beyond extra miles to cater our needs, she is exceptional. She even have baby bottled water ☺️

The owner Gabriela was super kind and helpful, she allowed us to leave our luggage in the building after check-out for almost a whole day. The building is in a perfect location to visit the center and also the Jewish quarter, our apartment had a wonderful view of the city castle.
