Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first booked Cracow Apartaments II – the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury, you know? But after staying there a few times over the past couple years, I’ve got to say it’s become my go-to spot in Krakow. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the place that just works.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call “quietly excellent” – nothing flashy, but everything you actually need is there and works properly. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped (I mean, they even have decent knives, which is rarer than you’d think), and the Wi-Fi actually handles video calls without cutting out every five minutes. What really sold me though was the soundproofing – Krakow can get pretty lively at night, especially during summer when the tourists descend, but I’ve never had trouble sleeping here. The windows are solid, and you’re positioned just far enough from the main party zones that you get the best of both worlds.

I think what makes this place special is how the staff actually seems to care about getting things right. Check-in is smooth – no waiting around while they figure out their system – and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations. Not the usual tourist trap suggestions either, but spots where locals actually eat and drink. The cleaning crew does a thorough job too, which I appreciate more than fancy amenities that don’t work. You know what surprised me most? The rating of 9.4 actually feels accurate, and that’s saying something because travelers can be pretty harsh in their reviews. It’s one of those places that doesn’t promise the moon but delivers consistently on what it does offer. Perfect for people who want a comfortable base to explore the city without paying hotel prices for services they won’t use anyway.

  The property was clean cozy and warm. A good night sleep with comfortable bedding and pillows which is rare when I stay away, usually bedding is poor and I struggle to sleep. The amenities were superb, the bathroom extremely clean with the perfect shower pressure and temperature. Gabriela was really accommodating, made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasurable. I can’t Thank you enough Gabriela. Very happy

  The room was modern and very nicely furnished with kitchen facilities. It was close to the city centre about a 10 walk away. I slept well and it was comfortable. The other outstanding thing was the Gabriela the manager was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. Because the room was vacant on my arrival, I was permitted to check in much earlier which I was grateful for given that I had travelled overnight. Gabriela was also very responsive and replied straight away to my enquiries. I would certainly stay here again.
